Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our Manaslu Circuit Trek begins, featuring cultural tours of global heritage landmarks. We embark on an extended journey from Kathmandu to Baseri, which lasts approximately 8 to 9 hours. Once we reach Baseri, the trek’s starting point, we traverse suspension bridges and navigate through stunning forests and Gurung villages to Maccha Khola. We also climb and descend various terrains, all the while admiring the natural beauty and cultural richness as we cross the Budhi Gandaki river, villages, and ridges of Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Samagaon, and trek to the historic Pungyen Gompa monastery.
We take a day’s break in Samdo for ample acclimatization. The trek’s apex, the Larkya La Pass, presents us with amazing vistas of the Annapurna Himalayas, Kangaru, Chio Himal, and Himlung Himal, among others. Throughout the journey, we witness the richness of culture and diversity in geography, and eventually descend towards Tilije, Tal, and Syange, before returning to Kathmandu.
