The Manaslu Circuit Trek is an extremely beautiful & restricted trek in Nepal. It takes you around the eighth-highest mountain in the world, Mount Manaslu (8163m). Spanning over 177 kilometers, this trek usually takes around 10 to 15 days to complete. The trail passes through diverse landscapes, including terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and high mountain passes. The highlight of the trek is crossing the Larkya La Pass(5106m) at an altitude of 5,106 meters, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding sparkling peaks.
Manaslu Trek is the opportunity to witness the diverse unique culture of the region. The trail takes you through several traditional villages inhabited by ethnic groups like the Gurungs, Tamangs, and Bhote. These villages offer a glimpse into the local way of life, with their unique architecture, monasteries, and warm hospitality. Another highlight of the trek is the chance to see the diverse flora and fauna of the Manaslu Conservation Area.

Brilliant Manaslu Trek - We had a wonderful time with Surya as our guide for the Manaslu Circuit Trek. It was very easy to organise with High Treks and we felt very looked after.
The trek itself was incredible, we felt very safe. We were very lucky to get a good day to climb to Manaslu Base camp and get some wonderful views.
We wouldn’t hesitate to use High Treks in the future, especially if Surya is our guide. Thank you for everything.

Manaslu Circuit Trek May 2024 - The most awesome 10 days trekking experience! Beautiful scenery, lots of mountain views, amazing immersion into the local villagers culture and memories to last a lifetime! My wife and I completed this trek in May 2024 and had the most amazing time, our guide Suraj was brilliant and would answer any questions we asked and gave us lots of local tidbits of information. Would 100% recommend to anyone else and will be back to do other treks in the future. Great communication from the company throughout.

Manaslu trek - Wow! It was such an amazing time! It was super hard but super worth it! Nepal High Trek was so easy to work with and everything went smoothly. They were very professional throughout. Laku our guide was so amazing, even when some plans got changed he immediately adapted to the circumstances. We loved Laku and our porters they were so amazing

Great Guide and Overall Experience - Laku was a great guide! He was super fun to be around, but still very professional. We had some setbacks as we got higher in elevation but he was able to adapt our plan and get us back on time, while also changing the plan to allow us to do some of the best side hikes, including hikes to the Serang Monastery, Birendra Lake, and Pungyen Monastery. Before the trek, all accomodations were handled from the second we arrived in Kathmandu.

The best guide and porters! - The trek was beautiful and challenging! Laku was an amazing guide, making our experience better than we could’ve ever planned. Our porters were amazing and helpful, Omrit even carrying extra on days I was sick so I didn’t even have to carry my daypack.

Arbind the Superstar!!! - My friend and I did the Manaslu Circuit Trek in March 2024. Well half of it anyway. There was too much snow on Larke Pass and unfortunately we had to turn back. Nevertheless our guide Arbind made this a trek to remember. If I was ever to return (which is not beyond impossible) I would be sure to use Nepal High Trek and Arbind again. He just couldn’t do enough. A true superstar!!!

Manaslu with Nepal High Trek. - Nepal High Trek are a local Nepali trekking company and they were brilliant. I should also say they were much cheaper than other bigger trekking companies. Anjan took care of all the details prior to our trip and he responded quickly to all our requests. The trip was tailored to exactly what myself and friend wanted.
We were met at the airport by our guide (Arbind) who took us to the Khatmandu Suite Home. The hotel was great. I’ve stayed in a few hotels in KTM that have not been good but have positive reviews. This hotel was very good. We met the Trek Planner (Anjan) and were briefed on all the details.
The following day we were off on the local bus to start the Manaslu Trek. (The local bus is an authentic experience worth doing but it is a long journey. We returned by Jeep to cut down travelling time.) The Trek was an amazing experience. As you’d expect the scenery was incredible, the Gompas were beautiful and the people lovely.
Our guide Arbind was amazing, he couldn’t do enough to help. He looked after us the entire time. He was a pleasure to be around a genuinely decent person with a great sense of humour and I do consider him a good friend. I would highly recommend Nepal High Trek and I’m already planning my next trek with them.

The perfect value for your money. Nepal High Trek! - Actually, I chose Nepal High Trek based on Tripadviseor's recommendations, and they confirmed all the positive feedback. I got exactly what was promised, sometimes even more. :) In all cases, I felt that I received the best possible accommodation and the most varied care. Both the guide and the porter willingly fulfilled all my wishes. The tour was a great experience, if I come back I will definitely go with them again.

Manaslu Circuit Trek - We did the Manaslu circuit with our guide Surya. Surya is a fantastic guide, is very kind and caring and knows the name of every mountain and its elevation!
This trek is more remote and quiet than many other treks in Nepal due to the lack of road access for almost the entire trek. This made for nice quiet hiking days. The views of the mountains when above 3000m are spectacular and we were treated to panoramic views of Mount Manaslu and the neighbouring peaks.
For anyone looking for a guided hike, we would definitely recommend Surya and The Nepal High Trek team! Thanks for a fun trip.
