A month in Nepal with Prime Himalayas - Our first trip to Nepal and first-time trekking. We were traveling with a friend couple. We are all in our mid to late 60's. In addition to the Manaslu trek our trip included a visit to Bardia National Park and Pokhara. Prime Himalayas organized all aspects of our trip. Prakash the owner was great to work with and had all our trip details, transportation, hotel, tours and even some free time precisely scheduled. He was very much on top of our whole trip to make sure it went as planned. He is a very nice gentlemen and easy to work with. The highlight of our trip was the trek. Very challenging and beautiful. Kris our guide was very experienced and knowledgeable about the Himalayas and Nepal in general. Great guy, easy to be with and he really watched over and took care of us. I highly recommend Prime Himalayas if you are planning a trip to Nepal.

We come back - Prakash is a wonderful person who will help you however he can. This is our experience with Prakash even if we end up not doing the poon hill/manaslu trekking. We highly recommend.
Here is our experience with prime himalay’s;
My father and brother have had a wonderful trip with Prakash and prime Himalaya’s so we were excited to go with them. We met Prakash on our first days in Kathmandu for dinner and the planning of our trip. Due to a happy news of our pregnancy we could not do the manaslu track (due to sleeping on altitude) and agreed on the poon hill trekking instead. Unfortunately we arrived at the same time in Kathmandu as the valley was hit by the worse floods in 2 decades. We tried to get on our way to phokara but unfortunately all the traffic was closed for an uncertain amount of days with expensive flying being the only certain option. Due to our changed situation, the associated risks and the floods of the country, we decided to leave Nepal and come back another time.
Prakash was very understanding and accommodating and we are very excited to finish our hike with him and Arjun again.

LetsGo!!!!! - The best hike of my life!!
I’ve hiked in over 10 countries and this was by far the best. From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, I instantly knew I was in great hands. Everything was taken care of and all we had to do was show up and enjoy the ride. What was tops for me was hiking through the villages and connecting with the locals. There’s a warmth in Nepal that’s like no other country.

Outstanding customer service before, during, and after Annapurna Base Camp Trek - This trip was an experience of a lifetime. I had planned to trek Annapurna Base Camp with friends and although it didn’t end as planned, that wasn’t Prime Himalayas fault. I sprained my ankle during the trek and the company went above and beyond to make sure that I was safe and cared for from making special arrangements for me at tea houses, to getting a horse to transport me out of season to hiring a helicopter to get me off the mountain. During the trek our guide Arjun and our porters were outstanding, especially our porters who worked so hard. I walked slower than everyone else even before injuring myself, and they were patient and always made sure I was safe. From the pickup at the airport, to Arjun taking me to a Hindu blessings ceremony in Pokhara before the trek, to the final good byes, the service was top notch.

What an experience! - I did the Annapurna base camp trek in the Middle of March 2024. Wow! My guide was Krishna and my porter was Mr. Lok. Five stars for the both of them. Krishna drug me up and down the hills everyday and Mr. Lok carried most of my stuff, and at a way faster pace than me. The guys ordered and delivered all my food, and Mr. Lok fed me bananas, apples, and/or pomegranate every night for dessert.
Prakash was the contact at Prime Himalayas and was the most attentive coordinator I have ever seen. Traveling to the other side of the world and really having no idea what to expect. Prakash answered all questions as quickly as humanly possible. Often times I had an answer or response from him before I even sent the email. (kidding). A little disclaimer for this hike, just about every day is up and down. There is very few flat areas and a ton of steps. By the end of the trip, I don't think I could've gone up or down anymore.
Highly recommend this company for trips to the Himalayas. A wonderful experience.

Memorable EBC Trek - Prime Himalayas (Mr. Prakash Simkhada) was an outstanding partner and greatly helped with navigating the logistical challenges. Helped answer all our questions during the preparation phase with accurate, timely responses. During the trip, we encountered a few weather related disruptions and Prakash with our Guide Krish were absolute champs in ensuring that we were able to adapt and still have a memorable trip. The tour agency adeptly rerouted us such that our experience remained uncompromised. Our route guide (Krishna Simkhada) was extremely knowledgeable, organized and very helpful through our trek. Prime Himalayas understood our travel needs very well and ensured that we had the best accomodations at every stop.
I highly recommend Prime Himalayas and the route guide for EBC and other trips.

Everest Base Camp Trek - We were a group of friends from college who did a 27yr reunion trek to EBC organized by Prime Himalaya. Prakash runs a very professional service with excellent guides and service.
Mr Prakash was very prompt and comprehensive answering our questions as we planned the trip.
We had some weather delays traveling between Kathmandu and Lukla and Prime Himalayas very proactively managed to switch our itenary while we could see other travelers struggling to do so on their own without good support from their trip organizers.
I highly recommend Prime Himalaya!

Best Trek Company - This is one of the best Trek Company. At the advent of the Sales process they were clear and helped us tailor a trip suitable for our group. Mr. Prakash was always very thorough in answering our questions which helped us prepare for the trek. When we arrived on two occasions we ran into weather issues, Both Guide Kriss(Krishna) and Prakash did an amazing job of keeping our experience at the center of decision making. Kriss was also very knowledgeable and shared wealth of information which made the trek even more beautiful. The sherpas were super helpful as well. I would highly recommend them!

Awesome EBC trek with Prime Himalayas and Guide Krishna - We are a group of 6 friends that planned for EBC hike with Prime Himalayas. We encountered several weather related issues during the hike that impacted our plans.
