Commemorating that great story, there is a famous shrine and stone slab featuring the history on the top of hill with great panorama of Himalaya and downhill villages.

Take a scenic trek to Namo Buddha, a stunning location perched at a height of 5,740 feet (1,750 meters) in the Kavre district. This spot serves as a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site located approximately 23 miles (38 kilometers) to the east of Kathmandu. The stupa and shrines constructed on this charming small hill represent an extremely old sacred site which symbolizes the location where a mythological prince known as Mahasattva sacrificed himself to a hungry tigress with a few malnourished cubs. This mythological event is illustrated on a beautiful stone slab situated right next to a sacred stupa.
