Kathmandu Durbar Square - Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, a representative from Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours will greet you and escort you to your hotel. In the evening, you can meet fellow participants and trek members. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Explore Kathmandu Valley. (B)

Kathmandu Durbar Square - After breakfast, we embark on a city tour of Kathmandu, visiting four UNESCO World Heritage sites in the valley.

Pashupatinath Temple: This temple is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus worldwide. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is where bodies are cremated on the banks of the Bagmati River.

Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest stupas in Asia, it is a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site and a popular tourist destination in the valley. It is also known for its over 50 Tibetan gompas or monasteries.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: This square houses the palaces of the ancient kings who once ruled the Kathmandu Kingdom.

Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple): Located in the heart of the valley, this is another famous tourist destination and important Buddhist pilgrimage site.

Patan, Bhaktapur visit & overnight at Nagarkot. (B/D)

Nagarkot - After breakfast, we tour Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage site in the valley.
Patan Durbar Square: This historic plaza is located in Lalitpur, also known as Patan, in the Kathmandu Valley. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The square is home to many ancient temples, palaces, and other significant buildings from the Malla period of Nepalese history.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Here, you will experience unique culture and exquisite craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only place in Nepal that has remained untouched by Western culture. After visiting Bhaktapur, we drive to Nagarkot, where you can enjoy the sunset and panoramic views of the Himalayas, including the Langtang, Jugal, and Rolwaling ranges.

Drive from Nagarkot to Chitwan National Park.

Chitwan National Park - In the morning, witness the sunrise at Nagarkot, a small village situated at about 7,500 feet, offering stunning views from Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. On a clear day, you can even see the tip of Everest. After breakfast, we drive to Chitwan National Park, a journey of about 5 hours. After lunch in Chitwan, we explore the park with a sightseeing tour of the Tharu village, Tharu cultural museum, and Elephant stable, including a sunset viewpoint. In the evening, enjoy a Tharu cultural dance program.

Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park. (B/L/D)

Chitwan National Park - After breakfast, we take a one-hour canoe ride where you can see many crocodiles, such as Gharial and Mugger. We then walk through the jungle to explore the wildlife and birds. We also visit the Elephant breeding center and enjoy bathing (showering) with elephants in the river. After lunch, we go on a Jeep safari or elephant back safari inside the National Park for 4 hours, where we may see various animals, including the Royal Bengal Tiger (if we’re lucky).

Drive from Chitwan to Lumbini. (B/D)

Lumbini Monastic Site - After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini, a journey of about 4 hours. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. After lunch, our local guide will help you explore the heritage sites, including the broken Ashoka Pillar, remnants of an old monastery, and images of Buddha’s mother, Maya Devi. The Buddha himself declared Lumbini as one of the foremost pilgrimage sites among the famous Chatumahasthana (the four great places of Birth, Enlightenment, Sermon, and Mahaparinirvana). Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Drive from Lumbini to Pokhara. (B)

Pokhara - After breakfast at the hotel in Lumbini, we begin our journey to Pokhara, enjoying views of the high mountains of Manasalu, Dhaulagiri, Ganesh Himal, and the deep valley between the Terai and hilly regions of the country. We also pass through Palpa (Tansen) town, located on a hilltop, known for its cultural and historical monuments and old Durbar. This place is also famous for the Nepali traditional cap (Dhaka Topi) and Brass water jar (Karuwa). After visiting this rich cultural site, we continue to the beautiful city of Pokhara. After checking into the hotel and refreshing, we take a walk around the lakeside in the evening.

Pokhara Museum - Early in the morning, we drive to the Sarangkot viewpoint for a spectacular sunrise view over the Annapurna mountain range. We then return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we go sightseeing around Pokhara, including visits to Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Temple, and the Peace Pagoda, where you can enjoy great views of the Annapurna ranges, Pokhara valley, and Phewa Lake. In the afternoon, you can enjoy boating on Phewa Lake and visit the Tal Barahi Temple (Island Temple).

Drive from Pokhara to Bandipur. (B/D)

Bandipur - After breakfast, we drive from Pokhara to Bandipur, enjoying views of the Marshyangdi River. Bandipur is a cultural town inhabited by local Newari people, where you can see typical old houses, culture, and lifestyle. In the evening, you can take a short hike in Bandipur village, which offers excellent sunset and sunrise views of the Manaslu and Annapurna ranges with the green valley.

Drive from Bandipur to Kathmandu via Chandragiri. (B/D)

Thamel - After breakfast in Bandipur, we drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying views of the Trishuli River and deep valley. On the way, we visit the Chandragiri cable car. The Chandragiri tour allows you to explore the popular hill of Chandragiri, a high green hill just outside the Kathmandu valley, about 2,500 meters high. From here, you can see the great Himalayan ranges and Kathmandu valley. You can also enjoy the cable car experience and visit the Shiva temple on the hilltop. In the evening, you can shop for friends and family in Thamel. We will have dinner at a Nepalese restaurant along with a cultural dance program.

Departure to Airport. (B)

Kathmandu - A representative from Himalayan Adventure Treks and Tours will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home, you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
