Cooking class - This was a fun and wonderful experience. Getting to go to the local market with someone who can show the way was fun and I learned about Nepalese food and culture. The whole experience is worth it and the food delicious. As always, the teacher was friendly and fun and spoke great English. She answered all my questions. I recommend this, for solo or a group!

Delicious traditional cooking experience - Had the best experience cooking at Nepal Cooking School. The food was absolutely delicious, the chefs were so kind and gave us some great cooking tips. You can select from many dishes to cook and they cater for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. Highly recommend.

Good fun - My two early twenties sons and I attended the cooking class with 3 other girls and had a great time. Went for a trip to the markets to buy the ingredients which added to the experience. We cooked and ate several dishes which became useful when ordering meals on our trek to Everest Base camp. A few hours we’ll spent.

Great introduction to Nepali cookning! - The team at Nepal cooking school was happy to let us pick and choose items from the available menus. The mainmarket wasclosed for Deewali, so they took us to several small specialist markets to get the ingredients that we needed. They really went out of their way to make our class special. Thefood was wonderful, and we all had a great time!

Friendly Staff - We chose a menu and then shopped at a local market for fresh vegetables, chicken and milk. The instruction was easy to follow and good fun. The staff of 4 was happy and very enjoyable. A must do while in Thamel.

Cooking school nice but maybe not really a scool... - We were four persons this day. Not room for any more in the small kitchen. A nice morning although it was a bit stressful and more like putting ingredients togheter, than a schooling.

Fun couple of hours - We were the only 2 people the day we cooked which gave us more attention but it would have been nice to chat to another couple. We chose our menu and a shopping list was made. The market visit was interesting and the lady pointed out items we didn't recognise. Back at the school we had a masala tea while prep work was done then we cooked. Menu 3. Delicious! Simple food with simple ingredients but a lovely experience. We were emailed the recipes for all menus afterwards so will be cooking when we get home!
