- Trail to Phulchowki Mai - We will meet here or we will pick you up from your hotel inside Kathmandu Valley. Then we will drive to Godawari by private vehicle. We will Hike to the top of Phulchowki hill via Godawari forest. Spent some time there and return back

The Phulchowki Hiking experience necessitates a one-day commitment, including an hour’s drive and a hike of about four to five hours to reach the 2760m high peak. Recognized as the ‘garden of flowers,’ Phulchowki is 14 km southeast of Kathmandu and is renowned for its flora and birdlife. The mountain is home to 570 distinct flowering plant species and a third of Nepal’s bird species. In the spring, the mountain is teeming with Rhododendrons, Nepal’s national flower, providing an iconic hiking experience. The summit houses the Phulchowki Mai shrine adorned with Tibetan prayer flags, adding a spiritual dimension to the breathtaking natural beauty.
Phulchowki Day Hiking Schedule
Gathered at hotel; Drive to Godawari (45 minutes); Ascend to Phulchowki Mai (3-4 hours); Lunch at the summit (1 hour); Descent to Godawari (2 hours); Return drive to Kathmandu (45 minutes)
