Amazing experience with Dawa Sherpa! - Pikey Peak Trek was an amazing experience! I highly recommend to anybody who has limited time for trekking and wants to see all the eight thousand giants in Himalayas from one peak. Our guide was Dawa Sherpa and he was the best guide in the world taking care of us was we all could reach the summit and get the best of the trek. He was always cheerful, helpful and handled perfectly any situation that emerged, professional in every inch so if you are planning any trek with this company, just ask for him to be your guide and you will reach your destination for sure. Dawa, thank you so much!

The best cultural experience in the lower Himalayas - with Pikey Peak trek! - The best cultural experience in the lower Himalayas - with Pikey Peak trek! If you are uncertain about the higher altitude of the Himalayas don’t look past this wonderful lower alpine and spectacular cultural experience of the Pikey Peak trek! The most in depth and kindest tour guide I had was Karma Sherpa assisting me was porter, Sonam Sherpa, he is Karma’s son-in-law! I got to meet their entire family and stayed in their village which was the starting point of the trek in Dhap! I want to speak of Ram Barakoti Sherpa who was working with me closely at the booking end, his prompt communication and assistance was spot on! In this trip, many Buddhist delights were on offer to admire, we pass Mani stones, stupas, of ancient Buddhist monasteries. The deep forests and everlasting rows of Rhododendrons, if you travel in April - May, cold nights enjoyed in front of hot fireplaces sipping hot ginger tea and enjoying Nepali Dal Bhat or Dahl Bhat. Passing villages, eating in tea house home kitchens with the families, a true on the ground experience. The Hike to Pikey Peak (4065m) was glorious ‘THE BEST VIEWS OF EVEREST FROM THIS LOCATION’ – Sir Edmund Hillary! The Pikey Peak trek takes you to the remote and less- travelled Solu Khumbu Region. On this trek, and from Pikey Peak, if the clouds are at rest you will have fantastic views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Annapurna, Gaurishankar, Lhotse, Nuptse, Numbur, Sishapangma, Thamserku and Mera peak. I got to see them all! 🏔😇🙏😁 . Another highlight was visiting the gorgeous Thupten Choling Monastery. I could go on and on, but I loved this trip very much! Highly recommend 🙏 Sherpa Expedition and Trekking are exceptional communicators, their itineraries are excellent and the variety is amazing

Stunning and inspiring. - I cannot express enough how amazing this experience was. To see the Everest range as the sun rises was extraordinary and breathtaking. The trek to and from Pikey Peak was scenic and the stops in the local villages and towns really enhanced the journey. I'd like to thank Ram and Lakpa for being great guides. Ram was quick to respond to my queries prior the trek when we were organising the trip and made sure to cover all bases. Both Ram and Lakpa were knowledgeable and I enjoyed learning about the places, customs and bits and pieces as we trekked along. As someone relatively susceptible to altitude, they took very good care of me during the trip and paced the trek well. Even after we returned to Kathmandu, they went well out of their way to make sure the rest of my trip outside of the trek was smooth to which I cannot thank them enough for their support. I will definitely be booking with them again and look forward to seeing more of what the mountains have to offer when I return.
