Flowers everywhere - It was absolutely amazing. We drove with a local bus, what alone is an adventure and the family is so nice. The food was amazing and there were flowers everywhere. This was my favourite experience in Nepal

An easy hiking through fascinating landscape and lunch with a local family. - When planning the trip we were a bit concerned whether our 9,5 year old daughter could cope with the 13 km distance. On the advice of our great guide Madhav we booked a private transport, just to be on the save side for every eventuality. Mr. Madhav even had the brilliant idea of bringing his daughter of approximately the same age along. She provided really a great encouragement for our daughter and the girls got along very well. We started from our hotel in Thamel around 8am, and it took us less than an hour to the starting point in Ranikot. We really enjoyed our hiking in the Ranikot area, and the distance covered was absolutely suitable. The nature views were just overwhelming. Terraces of bright yellow mustard alternated with green rice fields and vegetables. We also saw a lot of buffalos and other livestock and watched villagers carrying heavy loads of firewood on the steep hills. We had a typical Nepali lunch at a local home, which was very good and we the hosts were very friendly and open. With Madhav's help as interpreter They were we learned a lot about their everyday lives. The way back to the car took just a bit over one hour. We then got off at Bhaktapur where we stayed for the night. We would absolutely recommend this hike, even for families with smaller children.

Kathmandu, Pokhara and Australian Camp Trek - We had an amazing trip to Nepal thanks to Treking Trail Nepal. Everything was meticulously planned and we didn't have to worry about anything. We spent one day sightseeing Kathmandu with Sunil, such a knowledgeable guide. During the trek we were taken care by Lokendra, we had a great time with him, he was always looking out for us and making sure we were comfortable during the trek. Back in Kathmandu before we left we enjoyed a great one day trek with Apar to Ranikot, were we had lunch with locals and a cosy tipical Nepali farewell dinner. During the whole trip Apar as our main trip organizer looked out for us and make sure we were enjoying the trip and having fun. Nepal is a highly recommended destination and the guys from Treking Trail Nepal make it even more joyful. Thanks!
