All the praise to Sherpa Expeditions - worth EVERY cent - I cannot recommend this company enough for your Everest base camp trek. From the organisational side, the company organised everything meticulously - from airport pick up and drop offs, to making sure you had everything you needed to ensure the trip was successful. Response time was very quick to any enquires. The included gear (down jacket, sleeping bad, trekking poles) were of very high quality. To the trek itself - I have nothing but the highest of praises to our guide, Mindu and our porter, Sham. Mindu was very, very experienced and knowledgeable, not only about the trek and the mountains, but also about local culture and animals. He always took the time to share things he would see with us, and to answer any questions we had. He checked in regularly with us to make sure we were feeling okay, and was never bothered if we wanted to stop for a break or to look at the scenery or animals. Mindu also organised everything for us - from dealing with the tea houses, ordered food and drinks, and our flights back. There are not sufficient works for me to describe how grateful I am for Mindu as a guide - we are so lucky we had someone with his experience guiding us, but on top of that he was friendly, caring and willing to share the local culture. There is no way we could have made the journey without him and Sham. I have nothing but the highest praise for Sherpa, Mindu and Sham and recommend this group for any adventure they offer!

Amazing EBC trek with Sherpa Expedition - The views were amazing, but the guide and porters were truly the star of the show. They were extremely patient and responsible. Dawa Sherpa, Chorteh and Dorjeh was very helpful.

Incredible experience - Sherpa Expedition & Trekking were amazing. Ram was really responsive & helpful up front when booking and pre trek. We did EBC as a family group aged 19-56 and had the most amazing time. Our guide Santa and helpers Anish and Gyalje we exceptional. We felt really safe all the time. They were really attentive, funny, informative and encouraging. We had lots of laughs and it felt like they were part of our family too. We could not imagine better people to do the trek with. Memories and friendships were made.

Awesome 11 day trek to Everest Base Camp - Amazing 11 day trek to Everest Basecamp and back. Very well organised by Sherpa Expeditions who met us in Kathmandu an arranged flights to Lukla. Our guide Lakpa Sherpa was awesome. He tailored the trek to us, also taking us to Ama Dablam Basecamp, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We had a great time and I can’t recommend Lakpa enough. We hope to return in the future, maybe to climb a 6000 peak with Lakpa as our guide.

Verry good - We go on this trip with the sherpa treks compagny. The guide Pasang and the porter Kumar was two exceptional’s persons!!! The entire experience was a succed because of them, of the fantastic landscape and the mountain’s culture. We highly recommande these guide and is porter!!! Epic life-changing experience on EBC - Our trek to Everest Base Camp was originally planned as a 7-day hike with a chopper return (it was customized directly with Ram), but due to unfavorable weather conditions, we ended up completing the entire trek round-trip from Lukla in just 7 days. While this change was initially frustrating, the experience turned out to be both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Our guide, Mindu, and porters, Thirta and Chode, were nothing short of exceptional. Despite the tough conditions, including trekking through a monsoon and cloud cover (with the occasional breathtaking clear sky moments), the team ensured that we were safe, well taken care of, and having an unforgettable adventure. Mindu, in particular, was a true plug on the mountain. He was well-respected by everyone we encountered, having climbed Everest from the Tibet side, and had an endless amount of stories and knowledge to share with us. One of the most remarkable aspects of the trek was how the team managed logistical challenges. Due to network outages on the mountain, communication was tough, but Mindu and the manager, Ram, worked tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly. They went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our journey without worrying about the changing plans. In the end, no moment on this trek was boring. It was one of the toughest experiences we’ve ever had, but the reward of pushing through these challenges was well worth it. I highly recommend this team for anyone considering the EBC trek, especially if you’re looking for knowledgeable, dedicated guides and an unforgettable adventure.

Amazing Experience - Lakpa Sherpa is the Best! - I did the Everest Base Camp trek from April 10 - 21 and had the greatest time. We were in a group of 5 and had no issues. We flew in by helicopter which Sherpa coordinated for us. Each day was a fantastic trek, made better by our guide Lakpa Sherpa and all the porters. He was very knowledgeable about the mountains, Sherpa culture, and focused on safety. Nobody in our group had big issues with altitude. Our oxygen was checked each night and we took time to acclimatize. Each day we had good food and adequate lodging. Lakpa helped us pace the trek so we never got too exhausted and stayed excited throughout. I highly recommend this experience.
