Sundarijal - 09:00 am: Depart from the hotel and travel to Sundarijal (approximately 1.5 hours).
10:30 am: Begin the hike from Sundarijal Bus Park, passing by tea shops, waterfalls, a rushing stream, forest, and the Sundarijal army entry checkpoint.
12:30 pm: Arrive at the Damp site, take some photos, then return to Sundarijal.
02:00 pm: Hike down…

- Boudhanath Stupa - 02:45 pm: Drive back to Boudhanath Stupa, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the Boudhanath Stupa.
05:00 pm: The trip concludes here, and return to the hotel.

Sundarijal is situated approximately 15 kilometers northeast of the Kathmandu Valley. Named after the Hindu goddess Sundarimai, it is renowned for its short hiking trails and serves as a gateway for hikers heading towards Chisapani. Visitors are drawn to its ancient forests, majestic waterfalls, rushing streams, expansive hilly ridges, snowy mountain ranges, lush green peaks, and the water reservoir site.
The area boasts a rich diversity of vegetation, including pine, oak, and rhododendron, as well as wildlife such as the Himalayan black bear, leopard, jungle cat, and rhesus monkey. It is home to 177 bird species, 102 butterfly species, and 129 mushroom species.
Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal, is the most sacred Tibetan Buddhist temple outside of Tibet. Located in the town of Boudha on the eastern outskirts of Kathmandu, it is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and is rich in Buddhist symbolism.
- You must hike up to Damp site, very steep foot trail.
