Stupa is located on the top of hill. Upon reaching on the top, will than walk few steeps of stairs to reach to the Temple. Will explore the beautiful Buddhist temple and enjoy the panoramic view of mountains (in clear weather) and view of Kathmandu Metropolitan city. Symbolizes Peace - What a lovely and peaceful place.The place is really good and the overall area is well maintained. No ticket, no rush, no queue and it's your choice how much time you will spend there.

Excellent Buddhist Stupa to visit in Kathmandu - Swayambhunath Stupa is an excellent place to visit and see a spectacular Buddhist Stupa with a monastery and library in addition. The place located at an elevation offers a panoramic view of the city from one side of Stupa.

true value for your time. - it was my 1st visit to swyambhu and the guide definitely did his job perfectly. evening will be best time to visit swyambhu as the main puja starts from 5 and the view of kathmandu is mesmerizing.
