Drive to Pashupatinath Temple
Your guide will pick you up early in the morning, so have breakfast and pack your day bag before their arrival. The first stop is Pashupatinath, where thousands of devotees queue to worship. The visit begins at Guhyeshwori, followed by Deer Park, the Cremation area, Ram Temple, and Pashupatinath Temple. From a viewpoint across the main temple, you can observe Hindu funeral rites.
Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square is a large area featuring numerous temples. It served as the royal palace until the 19th century, hosting major rituals and coronations of the former Shah dynasty. Key temples include Trailokya Narayan Temple, Kalbhairab Shrine, Ashok Binayak Temple, Teleju Temple, Kotilingshora Mahadev Temple, and Indrapur Temple. Each temple is visited in turn, followed by a visit to a nearby museum showcasing belongings of former royal family members. Lunch is enjoyed after exploring these remarkable works of art.
Patan Durbar Square
After lunch, the tour proceeds to Patan Durbar Square, a 20-minute drive from Kathmandu Durbar Square. Patan Durbar Square is renowned for its artistic architecture. The octagonal Krishna Temple, constructed entirely of stone, is a masterpiece. Other notable temples include Bhimsen Temple and Banglamukhi Temple. After visiting Patan Durbar Square, you will be driven back to your hotel.
