“BEST solo trip ever! - Randomly I decided to go to Zanzibar from the US within 2 days. No worries. Said was an amazing tour guide. I picked this tour as there was a lot to do And I would be by myself. I was in for a treat. For one, I felt extremely safe. I felt very taken care of. As a solo traveler I couldn’t have asked for more than that. Not only that, I was able to take my time at each excursion. First we drove a VERY LONG drive to go swim with turtles and feed them. I was quite scared but Said got in the water with me and helped ease my fears lol. He even took a THOUSAND pictures. You would’ve thought I was an influencer haha. We then ate a traditional breakfast and back on the road we went. We also went to a cave where again, very taken care of. Said was very knowledgeable about the different parts of Zanzibar. The history of Zanzibar. I was so impressed And in awe. Such a beautiful island. Anyways we didn’t get to do the last excursion but that was my fault. I wanted to stay at the Rock restaurant and eat there. So if you want to alter your excursion, you can! But it was really such a fun time! I really had the best time of my life. He was on time and very courteous And respectful. I HIGHLY reccomend this excursions” - Reviewed on 2024-12-15

Begin your journey at Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, home to the endemic Zanzibar red colobus monkey. Next, explore the Kuza Cave, where you can swim in a natural cave and delve into the local culture. The cave’s history and its role in local folklore offer a fascinating glimpse into the island’s past. Afterward, head to Paje Beach, where the stunning white sands and vibrant kite surfing scene await. The pleasant breezes and local activities, such as seaweed farming, add to the charm of this beautiful beach.
The tour concludes with a visit to The Rock Restaurant, a unique dining experience perched on a rock in the Indian Ocean. Whether you choose to dine or simply take photos, the views are breathtaking and provide a perfect end to your eco-tour.
“James was intelligent and amazing. - James was amazing, his knowledge about the local culture and geography of Zanzibar was both interesting and extremely in depth. The tour had ample time to see everything and take a lot of great pictures. Since I was solo, it ended up being just us two, and I got to discuss topics about life in Zanzibar and asked many questions about the more personal side of life on the island. It was extremely fulfilling and exclusive to hear the nitty gritty things that most group tours would not cover. This type of knowledge you cannot read about; hearing it myself felt very exclusive and helped me learn much more about Zanzibar. When lunch came, I ended up going to a more local spot with James even though he made a recommendation to eat elsewhere; joining him felt more authentic and I really appreciated that during our tour. Added to the already close and introspective experience. Highly recommended.” - Reviewed on 2024-10-27
