Highly recommend! - A bit of a drive but part of the adventure and so worth it. Water temp was perfect - warm enough for those who don't like a cold plunge but cool enough for those who hate "bath" water. And it really was as blue as the photos. Lunch aftward was an extra bonus.

Fantastic experience off the beaten path - My favorite experience in Costa Rica (so far). We had a hike and tubing package that included a lunch. I was expecting soggy sandwiches and fruit, but we received chicken casados! What?? Great start so far. We went on a 2 hour tubing tour of the Rio Celeste which was FUN! We’re not experienced river rats, so this was rough enough to be fun, but not rough enough to be scary. The splashy pics show the roughest it gets. We stopped and 2 spots with a beginner Tarzan swing. Really fun trip!

Awesome tubing on a beautiful river! - My husband and I had such a great experience! Our driver, Steven, was a pleasure and our tubing guide, Danny, was off the charts! He did everything he could to be sure we were safe and had a great time! The water wasn’t blue but it was still pretty and the rapids were fast… which we LOVED! Sightings: toucans, howler monkeys, sloths 5 STARS!

Best way to enjoy the Rio Celeste! - We had a wonderful experience with Onca Tours. The river is beautiful, and we had expert guides that helped us enjoy the river fully. Highly recommend !!

An exhilarating adventure down the river! - This was an exhilarating adventure down the gorgeous Rio Celeste!!! If you're looking for a bit more excitement than lazy river tubing, then you should book this tour! There are rapids and there is nothing lazy about this river. The guides were very friendly, fun and our family of 4 with two kids ages 12 and 15 felt safe the whole time. About half way through the ride you will stop to climb the side of the river and either jump in or use the rope swing to jump in. We also saw a sloth with her baby at as we were getting out of the river at the end. As a bonus, lunch was included which was a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch. If you're looking for a fun adventure book this tour!

Gorgeous views, refreshing water, great company - We had the option of lunch before or after tubing. My friend and I opted for before. Great typical Costa Rican food with a fruit juice was provided. The guide was professional, made sure we were all safe, and a had a great time! He took photos/videos of our group as well. There was optional jumping/swinging into the water which was so much fun. It was a treat to see a sloth in the trees at the end of our experience.

Fantastic rafting experience on the Rio Celeste - Fantastic experience. Lovely lunch on arrival (included in the price) and then great fun rafting down the beautiful Rio Celeste. The rapids were lots of fun and guides did a great job keeping us moving down the river. The kids loved the Tarzan swing and we even got to stop and see a sloth on the way back, Highly recommended.

Amazing tubing tour in Rio Celeste! - Odir and his staff were super friendly and professional , we joined the 9:00 AM tour on a days notice. We were taken with a comfortable van to the starting point on the celeste river , which is stunning with a unique torquize color. There we received our protective gear and a safety briefing. The experience was extremely fun and was led by our two professionals guides (Dani & Anthony) that were always around us and helped with everything we needed. We even saw a Sloth on the way!! At the end of the tubing we went back to the tour office for a delicious lunch prepared by the kitchen staff. We highly recommend going with them! Be sure to bring a Camara for amazing memories!

Great, great fun! - Amazing fun does not quite describe it! We are a family of four and did this altogether (children early to middle teens). We had an absolutely wonderful time. Everything was well planned and executed, from being driven to location, having the various helpers navigate us down the river, and ‘river rope’ jumps, and finally the jump. The rapids down the river were great fun, as we tried to navigate across the rocks and make for the fastest part. Btw, at no point was there any actual danger: speeds were mostly tame and any case we were given life vests and helmets. The job of the helpers was in all cases just to move us along when stuck at various rocky bits. Note the rocks are super smooth, no danger whatsoever of cuts etc. The river water is amazing: brilliant bright blue colour and a sweet, slightly metallic taste. The temperature was great too (about 25 celcius). The tour lasted for about two hours after which we had a traditional Costa Rican lunch - nothing fancy, but delicious with a very wholesome feel. All the staff were super polite, friendly, and efficient. All in all highly recommended - wish we had more days so we could do it again.

Good experience, but don't pay in advance - The trip itself was great! The tubes were in great shape, as were the helmets we used. The staff worked hard at keeping the ground together and getting us off the rocks when we were stuck. The water was the perfect temperature and clear and clean. Food was great before the tubing trip that we took. I was disappointed and frustrated in the lack of refund available when 1 family member couldn't attend the trip at all (stayed at home in the states) and 1 got car sick on the way there, which another family member stayed back to take care of him. Even when we explained the situation, they said no, so we paid for 6 spots and only used 3.
