- Kukui Grove - We will meet all our travelers by the Kauai Bakery. It is time to set the mood right for the day with an introduction to the legendary Portuguese doughnuts known as malasadas. Get ready for a delicious sweet treat. Coffee and other savory treats are also available for purchase. Please arrive at 8:00am so you have time to enjoy some coffee and pastries before the start of the tour.
- Menehune Fish Pond - This is no ordinary pond, it is a jurassic size pond built in ancient times by the first inhabitants of Hawaii, the people from the Marquesas Islands. Marvel at the beautiful surroundings as we drive you through the Kipu Kai area. Learn about the fascinating legend of the Menehunes, the archeological and cultural importance of the pond. Many Hollywood movies have been filmed in this area. We will stop in two areas to take many pictures.
- Wailua Falls - Last but not least is time to visit one more waterfall, because you can’t never have enough waterfalls. Iconic Wailua Falls was featured on the opening scene of the Fantasy Island Tv show. You will have plenty of time for pictures. The perfect closure for a tour.
- Lydgate State Park - Time to take a stroll down the path by the beautiful Lydgate Beach Park, where you can soak your feet in the famous Morgan Ponds, learn about the ancient temple of worship were Hawaiians greeted the rising sun daily, the city of refuge, and more. This is a leisure walk for all age groups. you will have many picture opportunities.
- Opaekaa Falls - At this stop you will walk to visit two sites, Opaekaa Falls and the Wailua River lookout, located in Wailua town where the Hawaiian royalty lived in ancient times. Beautiful views and many picture ops await for you here.
- Poli’ahu Heiau - Heiaus are ancient Hawaiian temples of worship. Set high atop the mountains, Poliahu offers magnificent views of the ocean and the Wailua River. Your guide will share fascinating stories about Hawaiian history and culture, and maybe feed the feral chickens while we are at it.
- Kapaa - Lunch location will be announced on the day of the tour. It will depend on the weather. If it’s sunny we will take you to downtown Kapaa where you will have many food choices from food trucks to local markets and restaurants. If is rainy we will eat at Lava Lava Beach Club. Either way, we are sure you will love it!

This tour accommodates groups of up to 13 people of any age. Prices are listed per person. You can customize the tour with our help.

- There will be short driving time in between our stops. However you will never spend more than about 25 mts in the car between stops.
- This tour takes place on the East side of Kauai in its entirety. You will visit the towns of Lihue, Wailua and Kapaa

Don’t miss a thing! - Coco made our trip enjoyable from booking to final drop off. She provided a variety of options and listened to what we wanted out of our tour. She sent great reminder texts prior to departure, and she even made a day of pivot when my mom decided to join our tour. I was thrilled when Coco surprised us as our tour guide! She brought us flowers for our hair when she arrived and spent time at each of the stops regaling us with a little bit of history and a little bit of whimsy. We were grateful she joined us for lunch at a local eatery and gave great suggestions on authentic Hawaiian cuisine. The stops were perfectly timed and the waterfalls were breathtaking. I would highly recommend both the Company and Coco if you're in Kauai!

5 hrs Kauai Easy Side Tour with Coco - We had a wonderful sight seeing 5 hrs Kauai tour with Coco on March 30th, 2024. What a beautiful and full filling this tour was! Coco told us the history of the Island and in details described every site we stopped by. We saw waterfalls, historically archeological sites, the harbor, the beaches, the mountains…we’ve learned a lot!
Coco is charming, easy going, history knowledgeable tour guide !
Those 5 hrs together flew by pretty fast.
We traveled by a comfortable, spotlessly clean van, so the rain we caught with part of the trip did not affect our fun time with Coco.
We strongly recommend the tour and our amazing guide Coco.

Great scenery, stories, and laughter on the short and sweet! - Coco was such a great tour guide. She made my wife and I feel right at home and part of her family with all the stories of the legends of Kauai and island history on the short and sweet tour. She recommended other things to do on the island and she did not disappoint! Her wealth of knowledge and professionalism is the reason why I highly recommend booking a tour with her. My wife and I will be going back to one of her other tours the next time we come to Kauai.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! - oH MY GOSH!! From the time Shasta picked us up, we had a blast! She is so knowledgeable about the area, history, places to go, etc!!! If we are ever in the area again, I would tour with KST!!
