Hanalei Bay - Slip into Hanalei River from our own private dock. We will head down stream sharing history of the Hanalei river & getting comfortable in our kayaks before heading out into Hanalei Bay where we spend the majority of our time. There we check out our Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles (Honu) before heading over to the beach where we will land our kayaks and take everyone out snorkeling (45 mins). Guides will share modern day reef ecology and point out what to look for while snorkeling. After snorkeling we provide a full deli style lunch, sit, hang out, & answer any questions you may have about our island. Our guides are born and raised here and take pride in sharing their island knowledge.
This tour has an 8am check in time and runs from 8:30am-1pm. We will fit you for snorkel gear (you are welcome to bring your own full set of gear or a full set will be provided(no mix & match of gear). Full face masks not permitted on tour.

We are a family from Hawaii, deeply invested in imparting the profound heritage and traditions of Hanalei to you. Join us on our exclusive river-ocean combo tour, which starts from our private pier and leads you to an undiscovered beach. Discover the art of snorkeling in the pristine blue waters of the Pacific, encircled by an array of sea creatures. Alternatively, you can partake in interesting conversations, unwind on the beach or enjoy a meal or some snacks. This tour is ideal for families with children aged 5 and above.
- Must be at least 5 years of age to participate
- Free & ample public parking available
- 1:1 adult to child ratio required for children under 12
- Participants are welcome to use their personal snorkel gear with the exception of full face snorkel masks. Full Face Snorkel Masks are not permitted on tour. All participants are required to use a traditional 2 piece snorkel and mask set.
- 225lbs weight limit per person (exception of up to 250lbs if 6’ or taller)
- Pregnant travelers 30 months or less are welcome to participate
- All participants must be in good physical health, can paddle on their own, & get in/out of kayak on their own without assistance

Fun kayak tour - Our family had a fun time on our morning kayak and snorkeling trip. It was fun getting to kayak in the bay. Had a turtle pop up right next to our kayak. The snorkeling was really good too. Lots of reef space to check out. Son and daughter-in-law were able to follow along with a turtle for a good bit during the snorkeling. Our tour guide was great and even provided some nice entertainment during lunch.

A+ - Gabe was a total sweetheart who made everyone comfortable- he was approachable and knowledgeable and also let us have the space to paddle a safe distance away once he established that we were safe! The paddling and the snorkeling both were breathtakingly beautiful- the morning delivered on every promise and then some! We’re already talking about going back this trip to rent an SUP from the company.

Hanalei bay kayak & snorkel - Very enjoyable trip w both kayak & beach snorkel complete w lunch & ukulele music. Kolo was a terrific guide, shared Kauai history, geography & obvious pride in his heritage. Very accommodating to all participants. Highly recommend for unique fun.

Great Kayak tour! - The tour guides were great! Very fun and informative! The views on the kayak tour were absolutely amazing! Snorkeling was very fun. We saw lots of fish and turtles too!

10/10- great time and beautiful views - We had an absolutely wonderful time on this excursion. Our tour guide, Jay, was absolutely phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable and encouraging. He teaches you lots of tips for kayaking, but I would say it is helpful to have some prior knowledge, as if he feels the group is experienced, you will kayak in the ocean and through some waves. People brought their kids though, so really as long as you have a stronger person in the two person canoe, you should be just fine. Cannot recommend Jay and this tour enough :)

Great and Fun Activity - Kolo and Gabe were wonderful. They were knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. The experience was so much fun and the lunch was generous and tasty. I would 100% reccomend this activity
