A great family adventure - We loved kayaking down the river to the sea and hanging out on the beach. Our guide was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly

Top knotch tour. Perfect spot for both new and experienced snorkeling. - Our guide was very knowledgeable and his JR was very kind, patient with a few of the slower and inexperienced paddlers. For my family, whom are adept outdoors folks, we enjoyed the stories and we even got serenaded with a few Ukulele songs.

Kayaks, snorkeling, and turtles!!! - This excursion was recommended to us and booked via Snorkel Bobs in Kapa’a on our first day. We weren’t sure what to expect, but he spoke so highly of this crew and this tour, so we thought why not give it a try? It was worth every cent! Despite the fact that it rained a good deal of the time, we had a blast. The tour guides were fun and super friendly- telling us stories about some of the plants snd stunning views we saw along the way. Our tour group was appx 30 people, 2 to a kayak, and various skill levels. It never felt like we were going at an unreasonable pace and I’ve gotta hand it to the guides for shepherding us all through the choppy waves where the river met the sea. We all made it ashore with no tip-overs! Snorkeling in Hanalei Bay was fun- we even saw a turtle hanging out under some reef!! And maybe most excitingly, we also saw a few turtles on our way back up the river! They were making their way back to the ocean! So cute. Our guide took some video footage of us all throughout the trip and offered to airdrop it to anyone with an iPhone (probably would have also texted to non-Apple phones too!) Such a special and memorable activity. There are some types of adventure tours that are “one and done” bucket list-type outings- I would definitely do this one again next time I’m in Hanalei, with this company specifically!! If you’re wanting to do a scenic kayak tour that offers some casual snorkeling and snacks, along with guides that make you feel safe and supported throughout the entire trip, this is the one!! Thank you so much for such an unforgettable experience!! We will be back!!

Smashing and Delightful! - This was an excellent guided kayak tour. After a quick lesson on how to paddle in a tandem kayak, we were guided down to an easy entry kayak boarding platform and started our trip. Our guides, Gabe and Kolo were super cool and fun. They gave a great tour with great views and information. Easygoing and fun! The snorkeling was awesome too! We had some overcast clouds so the water clarity was a little darker than when the sun peeked out. The water was great temperature and it was an easy paddle that could be done by any age, I believe. Definitely worth it! Mahalo!

Highly Recommend - We give this company 5 stars! We were rained out and the company was under no obligation to reimburse us. However they did offer the use of their equipment during our stay, at a different time.

Epic Experience - We had best experience with our guide Kolo & Kayak Hanalei. It was beautiful day on the river and bay both kayaking as well as snorkeling. Kolo shared great insights on the island and made it so much fun!

River, learning, rowing, swimming with turtles - Kolo knew where to take us and was super helpful to first time kayakers. We enjoyed it so much. After kayaking down the river we found ourselves at a beautiful beach and ready to snorkel. Kolo went in with us and pointed out fish and turtles. We had a blast!

Must do family activity - Awesome family activity. We did the afternoon kayak and snorkel. I went with my 10-yr-old son and he loved it! Kolo and Gabe were great guides. They took the kids into the trees for fresh coconuts after we snorkelled. Must do activity in Hanalei. Oh and we saw 3-4 giant sea turtles!

Wonderful experience - Beautiful kayak down the river and into the ocean with everything you need. Bring a rain jacket since this is the second time doing this tour and it rained both times. Still gorgeous and absolutely worth it. Coastal weather can be unpredictable our guides shared history, culture, snacks and were so kind. I was able to hold an octopus, my dream. Her name is Betty now.

Highly Recommend - Our guide was fantastic, and being a native Hawaiian, he was very knowledgable about the flora and fauna of Hawaii. Highly recommend. One coral creature we saw he wasn’t sure about; it’s a spaghetti worm and very cool! 5 stars!
