An excellent choice for a morning or afternoon activity. - Kayaking in the ocean ! Right along the shore with a magnificent view of Hanalei Bay and waterfalls. The water was so clear and vibrant blue. We started paddling up the river which was very calm and very scenic. Then to a Secret Gem im told hideaways beach. With ancient trees hanging near by its great for photos. The Guide was Lindsey ! Full of positive energy and very attentive to the group. And she carved us a Pineapple right on the beach, it was epic. Totally Hawaii. The Tour only took a few hours so i had plenty of time to explore other things in Hanalei.

Amazing morning Kayaking with J! - What an amazing day! J was our guide and he is amazing. We had arranged for him to pickus up in Princeville. We then rode to Hanelei where we enjoyed kayaking up the river and then out into the Ocean to Hideaway beach where we lunched and snorkeled . J regaled us with tons of Hawaiin/Polynesian history and Island lore. It was a blast. Pro Tip: bring at least a liter of water each, plenty of sun screen and waterand be prepared to use some muscles you might not usually work!

Fun Kayak Adventure - The laid back vibe was perfect for us especially cause we were late! Our guide Annie was amazing and let us enjoy snorkeling and swimming as long as we wanted.

Fun and Beautiful Hanalei Kayaking Trip - We went with Koa who provided the entire group with a safe, informative, fun, and unbelievably beautiful morning into early afternoon. The lunch was perfect, the paddling on the river and out into the ocean was fun, and the value for the money was excellent! Would highly recommend for any and all who have some minimal physical fitness (emphasis on minimal). You do enter and exit in surf which I could see might be problematic for someone with mobility issues. Great way to spend part of a day on Kauai!

Exciting River/Ocean Kayaking! - After being confused about meeting point, we connected with guide Jay and his crew. Our family of seven were joined by an adult family of four from Austria! Jay was terrific in working with our family of 4 adults and three young ones, 12, 8, and 5. Made everyone comfortable for us rookies. After a few minutes of training on details of kayak paddling, safety, we proceeded up river for about an hour. Some were able to see a sea turtle on the way. After going back down the river to ocean, proceeded out into open water along the coast for another half mile and at least an hour going against wind and current. Great workout! Landed at a small beach for some lunch provided by Jays team. Good sandwiches, fresh cut pineapple, chips, cookies and drinks. Took about 45 minutes of snorkel time off the beach and were able to observe sea turtles eating off the coral! Amazing experience! After the snorkel, loaded back into the kayaks and headed back to our landing area. Great day for all! Be sure and bring sun screen and sun shirts! And tips for the crew! Best time ever!

Great day! - Excellent trip with our guide Lindsey. Great snorkeling at hideaway beach and the river paddle was excellent. My wife, my 12 year old son, and I enjoyed the entire experience.

Fun Activity - We were blessed on this adventure because it was very serene! Views…gorgeous, tour guide Lindsey was sweet and funny, and the activity itself was fairly easy/moderate. We saw a couple of sea turtles while snorkeling too, so that was a highlight! Definitely knocked me out for a nap when I got back, but it was all so worth it.

Adventure kayak and fun for the whole family - Ocean kayak and snorkel was challenging and fun. Our guide was knowledgeable and fantastic. The sandwiches were top notch.

Dangerous, especially with kids - My family took a guided snorkel/kayak tour with this company, something I've done before with no problem (using other companies). However, on this tour, issues started after we got up to where the waves were bigger and crashing down on us. The guide was far ahead from about half the group. Two guys who were behind us actually capsized. Other people from the group yelled up to the guide to stop, but he kept going. A bit further up, my son and I had gotten behind from the big waves and when it got to the point that I couldn't see the guide anymore and could barely see anyone else from the group, I just felt the situation had gotten too dangerous. There was a beach a little further back, so I started paddling towards it. Meanwhile, my husband was able to catch up to the guide and tell him my son and I weren't with the group anymore. The guide ended up paddling back maybe 5 or so minutes after we got to the edge of the beach. He started berating me for not keeping up saying, "I told everyone they had to stay on my tail." I replied back that it was his job to keep everyone in the group together and ensure our safety. I had a 7-year-old with me and was doing the best I could. He then said that he couldn't legally leave us behind. I said I didn't care; I'm a grown up and if I don't feel safe and can't ensure the safety of my kid, I'm not going with him. He then offered to go with my son, but my son didn't want to and at this point, I had lost all trust in this guide, so I wasn't comfortable either. So he helped us pull the kayak onto the beach and then took off. My son and I spent the next 2 hours waiting on the beach with no food or drink, which were to be included as part of the tour.
