We invite families with younger children to visit our new Lydgate Chocolate Tasting Room in downtown Kapaa: now open Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Great chocolate tour - Loved learning about cacao plant, learning about farm, local plant life, sampling a variety of chocolates & local fruits. Henry was a great tour guide.

Very informative tour... - Very informative tour about chocolate, with lots of tasting in addition to some other food tastings. It is a 3 hour tour, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time learning and tasting!

So much knowledge! - Our guide, Mason, was so knowledgeable and personable, he made the whole tour. We learned so much about chocolate and farming, as a whole. You get to taste plenty of chocolate and exotic fruits- no need for breakfast prior! A great experience all around.

My best tour ever (Period). - Perhaps the best tour I have ever been on. Our tour guide (Mason) was unbelievably fun, energetic, passionate and deeply expert in farming cocoa. I was a bit apprehensive to lay down the cash on this trip for three of us, but it was a bargain. I learned so much and sampled dozens of chocolates. The tastings were delicious, interesting and educational. If you come to Kauai, don't miss this tour. (Also - Consider going to the first tour of the day, less touristas, cooler... much better experience.) We bought a bunch of chocolate and honey in the gift shop. It was all top notch.

Gotta love chocolate! - Samual did a phenomenal job presenting the entire operation of Lydgate Farms Chocolate tour. Loved his cheesy jokes and sense of humor. You can feel his love and passion for the cacao farm. We truly enjoyed Lydgate Farms chocolate tour and highly recommend visiting.

Chocolate and so much more! - My husband, oldest daughter, and myself spent an informative and delicious 3 hrs learning about, and tasting a variety of chocolates. Our guide, Jess did an outstanding job. Besides the chocolate the various honeys were amazing!

Delicious, informative and fun time at an authentic farm. Delicious treats were eaten the whole time throughout! - Samuel was an excellent guide! We had so much fun learning about not only chocolate, but bananas, plants, and honey. It was informative, entertaining and delicious. A lot of chocolate was tasted!

Yummy handmade chocolate - We had a nice time touring Lydgate’s craft chocolate farm yesterday. Jenna did a great job as a tour guide. Very informative and delicious. We think three hours was a bit long, two seems best.
