Great trip! - Stevie was great and was very knowledgeable. He was easy to talk to as well and overall just made for a relaxed and fun experience. I also thought he had a good balance of knowing how much risk to take when going out into the ocean water. We didn't see any whales sadly, but I thought the ride itself was a lot of fun. Bekah was also great; she was very accommodating and attentive to the guests' needs. Overall, it was both very fun and very educational.

An outstanding evening on Kalapaki Bay - We spent a wonderful afternoon with Captain Stevie and crew learning about the history, flora and fauna of the area around the Nawiliwili Harbor. The trip turned exciting for a few minutes as we poked out of Kalapakī Bay to search for the elusive Humoback whale. We quickly retuned to the serene river and enjoyed a fantastic sunset on the water. What a great way to spend our last evening on the island. I highly recommend this excursion to young and old alike.

Wonderful relaxing experience - My 22 year old daughter and I truly enjoyed our sunset cruise with Captain Stevie, Sage and Becca. Stevie is very knowledgeable about the plants and birds along the River and the history of Kauai. He’s a great storyteller and made the whole trip very relaxing and informative. The boat was not too crowded, plenty of space to walk around, merry new friends and enjoy snacks and beverages. Highly recommend!

Great time! - We had a great afternoon with Captain Stevie and his crew, Sage and Becca. They were so friendly and accommodating. The snacks and unlimited drinks were fantastic and Stevie was very knowledgeable. We even got to spend some time on the open water and spotted a few whales! 10/10 recommended 👌

Fantastic - Wow what a great tour!!!
Our guide Stevie was fantastic
He was very knowledgeable about the flora and the fauna of the tour
Sage and the new girl( can’t remember her name were great as well
Would definitely recommend to others and would book again

Fabulous evening event - This was a great cruise! Very informative and a relaxing way to end the day. Steve and Brandon were great hosts for the evening and did a great job sharing facts about the island while also allowing passengers to spend some time just appreciating the island with some music and drinks. It was only about a 25 minute walk from the Royal Sonesta, as well, so we definitely recommend if you are staying there!

The perfect ending to a perfect day on Kauai! - We had a fantastic time aboard the Kalapaki Kai. Captain Stevie and Brandon were wonderful hosts, provided interesting history and information about everything we saw along the way and made us feel very welcomed.

Good but not what we expected - The crew was wonderful and informative. It is advertised as two hour cruise and even with a short jaunt to the ocean mouth, it was about an hour and half. The sun set (behind a mountain) behind us as we headed back so I wouldn’t call it a sunset cruise. Also, it’s on a river so although pretty, not much variation in scenery and definitely not what I expected.
