Amazing experience, not to be missed. - This is the only way to see the island In my opinion. Our pilot was Katie and she did a very Good job of making sure We knew turbulence was coming and Circling the helicopter around so everybody got pictures and videos of all the sights. She was very cautious on take off and landing. The staff was great at preparing us for Our outing Including what to wear And having straps for Your camera or phone.The 1 hour tour covers all the major points of the island including all the canyons. major waterfalls. the Nepali coast. This is definitely the highlight of my trip And I've only been here 2 days but - Nothing else will measure up! The pictures and videos are amazing. I had called 2 other helicopter tours and they wouldn't take a single. Airborne aviation had no issue and they were cheaper. I've been on several other helicopter tours including the Black Hills and Denali. This is by far the BEST!! When I come back to Kauai I will be taking their tour again, and I highly recommend airborne aviation.

Must do while visiting Kauai! - Incredible experience seeing Kauai in the most unique way possible (solo traveler). Our pilot Kate was awesome and gave both informational history/background about the island while also pointing out specific places to visit and eat/drink around the island! This was my favorite activity while in Kauai, thank you so much Kate/Airborne team!

The only way to see Kauai... - Who doesn't want to see Kauai 's beautiful cliffs, waterfalls and canyons? The problem is how do you see them. Previously, we made an attempt to try by water and booked an amazing small boat company but 45 minutes into the ride to remember, the waves were blocking out the skies and it was determined it was just too rough to continue. ALL boats, big and small, returned to the dock that day and our trip was canceled (and refunded). So now what? Will I ever see Kauai's Na Pali Coast? YES! Yes I did! I changed tactics and booked a Hughes 500 4-passenger DOORS OFF helicopter tour with Airborne Aviation Tours. Was it the right choice? OMGoodness - not only was it the righ choice, it was the BEST choice. Let me tell you why. Kauai is a small lush island and you will need a car if you want to see sites. If you have been - you know what I'm talking about. There are sites to see, waterfalls to visit and the Waimea Canyon State Park is gorgeous and accessible. However, if you want to see not only the Na Pali Coast (yes, you miss out on snorkeling and seeing the inside of sea caves) but you see sites you'll never truly experience unless you're flying from above and the helicopter is the way to go. A helicopter dips and dives and swirls around as it zips at speed up to 120mph within and above an extraordinary island and crater (if you're lucky and we were). Airborne Aviation is a great outfit and one I would recommend to anyone. Yes, there are the big names out there and those are great companies but there was something more personal with Airborne Aviation. This is my 4th helicopter ride - all with different companies and I've been the most pleased with Airborne Aviation. Steve Kries was our incedible pilot and I bleieve he truly loves what he does. Former miltary and will emmerse you in the sites and history and provides you with the adventure you are looking for. You will NOT be disappointed in his knowledge, professionalism and skill. If there is only one thing you can do on Kauai - book this trip! You will have memories for a lifetime. You can do this as a quick day trip from another island (we did from HNL). We booked an interisland flight on SW from HNL to LIH. We arrived in the AM and didn't have anything to carry other than a purse and a phone. Easiest check-in I've ever had. Airborn Aviation is within walking distance from arrivals. When you arrive and are outside looking at the parking lot - go right and just keep walking. They are almost at the end (look for a white dome) on the right side less than a mile (sidewalk all the way). They have outside restrooms and a climate controlled trailer to wait in. They provide locked lockers for any items that are not physically attached to you - that means backpacks, water bottles, purses, etc. all go into the locker. They sell secure string attachments for your phone ($10) so you can take photos and videos. When we finished our adventure, we simply walked right back to departures at LIH (had a small lunch at the airport which was great) and then hopped back on our return flight to HNL. We arrived LIH around 10:45a for a 12p tour and made a 2:30p return to HNL. I hope this review has been helpful (long, I know - sorry) and that you make the choice we did and still can't stop smiling.

Unforgettable ride around Kauai - I came to take photos, and I lucked out and ended up in the back on my own! I was able to get a ton of amazing photos from both sides of the helicopter.

If you could only do one tour do this one! - The absolute best way to see the beauty of Kauai! Truly stunning! Worth every penny. Our pilot Max was excellent and the flight was thrilling. We are so happy we booked this tour!

Mesmerizing experience - There was a point where we were surrounded see by waterfalls and the view was surreal! The pilot was amazing! He informed us of everything we were looking at and was able to bring us to some breathtaking views we will never forget. Whole crew was amazing from walking into the gate, to the very end! 100000 recommend

Great ride but promised video not available - The views were amazing and I loved the ride. However, my camera ran out of battery early in my flight. I was told that I would be able to purchase a video of my flight so I figured I could do that to preserve my memories of this first helicopter ride for me. When I asked about it after my flight, I was told they did not have the capability of videotaping the ride. I was extremely disappointed that I was not given correct information about my booked experience. You can do better! My views of Trip Advisor have tanked from this experience.
