Old KĹŤloa Sugar Mill - We ask guests to wear clothes that they do not mind getting dirty! All guests must wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear that can be used for hiking. Bug spray and reef safe sunscreen are recommended as well as a towel and extra clothes for showering off after the tour.
Guests will be provided with goggles, a helmet, and a souvenir neck gaiter (for use as a face mask). A safety overview, including driving instructions, will be given by your guides before heading out on the trails. For this tour, guests can expect to view pristine landscapes from makai (ocean) to mauka (mountain). This tour will take you on plantation trails over Kauai’s most southern point in Polaris UTV’s. Guests will hear the tales of Kamehameha from atop an inactive volcanic crater, see famous movie sites, visit the cliffs of Mahaulepu beach and even be able to try their luck at some catch and release bass fishing on the Waita Reservoir!
Guest will be asked for a copy of collateral (credit card) for insurance purposes during the waiver sign in process. This tour provides approximately 40 minutes of drive time. Expect some moderate hiking.

- IMPORTANT: you will need to advise the names, weights and dates of birth of all passengers in your group prior to arrival. Please reach out to us with this information once your booking has been submitted
- Not recommended for travelers with mobility issues. There is a hike from seaside cliff to beach
- Drivers must be 18 with valid driver’s license. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 25 and older
- Children 4 years and younger are not permitted

Get dirty - Junior and Lu’e (totally butchered that, pronounced like Lucky without the ck) were great tour guides. Both very knowledgeable about the island and the sites we visited. Gaiter, water and granola bar were all provided by the company. This was a good tour, but be prepared to get filthy. It’s all part of the fun! We were glad to get showers when we got back to the hotel.

Family Trip - Josh and Kalea were extremely knowledgeable about the island. The views of the island on the tour were amazing. The ATV adventure was fun and exciting! The tour was so amazing that I wish it was a little longer. It was great learning about the historical events and movies filmed on the island.

Incredibly fun, unique way to see the island - Kauai ATV was a really fun way to spend half a day on Kauai. It provides a very different way to see the island from any other option. You will drive through land and paths that only the ATVs cover, and you will get to see remote beaches, desert areas, filming locations for movies, and jungle atmosphere. The ATVs were super fun to drive and our tour guide Junior made for a fantastic day. They aren't kidding that you will get incredibly dirty. I highly recommend this tour!

Dirty but action-packed tour - Through our concierge at the hotel we booked this really action-packed tour.
Junior and his colleague made it very interesting and we could not get out of the screaming.
After that we were dirty from top to bottom, even in the nostrils and ears (even after showering...).
The mud held and still holds in our clothes even after 5 x washing...
It is best to put on clothes that you can throw away....

Insane experience - My girlfriend and I did this ATV backroads adventure and it was insanely fun! Our guides Kylie & Austin were incredible. They made the tour fun and hilarious. Austin was very knowledgeable about his island and the history of it. I’d recommend this activity 100%

Good dirty fun! - Fabulous dirty fun!! The whole family loved this adventure filled ride. We were able to swap drivers at each stop so everyone had a turn. The guides were so helpful and fun with lots of great intel on the island and the tour 🤩

Thrilling Adventure - My family had a blast on this backroad adventure. All the tour guides were great and took care of the entire group. The adventure is bumpy and dirty but so much fun with the different stops to see the beach and go fishing. I definitely recommend to visitors.

Perfect - Austin and kilona our tour guides were amazing and very knowledgeable. the experience was everything that I wanted. We fed ducks and bass fished. There were 3 other amazing stops on the ride including a beach, tunnel, and amazing photo spot.
