- 4637 Amio Rd - After checking in at the shop and having all equipment fitted and loaded, guests will be transported approximately 2 miles to the Kukuiula Small Boat Harbor. There, participants will receive a comprehensive briefing on the essentials of SCUBA diving, covering basic theory, safety, equipment usage, and underwater communication….
- 4637 Amio Rd - After checking in at the shop and having all equipment fitted and loaded, guests will be transported approximately 2 miles to the Kukuiula Small Boat Harbor. There, participants will receive a comprehensive briefing on the essentials of SCUBA diving, covering basic theory, safety, equipment usage, and underwater communication. Following the briefing, they will have the opportunity to practice skills and become comfortable in the water with their SCUBA gear. Subsequently, it’s a short walk to the boat where a coast guard certified captain will provide a boat safety briefing. The maximum depth for each dive is 40 ft, and there will be two dives lasting approximately 30-45 minutes each at some of the most renowned South Shore dive sites in Kauai.
The entire experience lasts about half a day, and any skills demonstrated can be credited towards a PADI Open Water Course, the initial step in becoming a certified SCUBA diver. Snacks and drinks are available on our dive boat, which is the largest and most spacious on the Island. Upon completion, the instructor will drive participants back to the Dive Shop to finalize their successful course completion.

There is no SCUBA experience required to participate in this activity! Our guests will have to opportunity to explore an underwater world rich with sea life, and home to over 1,250 species found only in the Hawaiian Islands. With lava arches, schooling fish, majestic reef ecosystems, dolphins, manta rays and more, our guided tour for uncertified divers will excite even the most experienced adventurer. Our dive boat, the Anela Kai, is the largest and most spacious SCUBA boat on Kauai and each diver will have to opportunity to dive in 2 different locations. Out boat’s size makes it perfect for Pacific Ocean diving giving you ample space to walk around, an upper-level observation deck and a smooth ride along the ocean coast. We always check dive conditions and will customize our dive plan in order to make this experience as fun, and safe as possible for you and your whole family.
