Island Food Tour - The food was amazing! And our guide Susan had so much information and history of the island to share! She even gave us recommendations for places to eat all around the island! Great local perspective!

A Must Add to your Vacation Experience - Don’t pass up the opportunity to try great tasting food and learn about local history and lore. Susan, our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She made sure my daughter who is gluten free was able to partake in all of the meals. We will definitely sign up for another tour in a different part of Kauai.

Delicious - We had an amazing time! Susan did such a great job picking local places for something different to try, plus she had fun information and Kauai history to share during each stop along the way.

Good your ROCKS!! - Susan was amazing. She was full of very interesting history about the island. The choices of food was very good. The smash burger was by far our favorite. My family and I really enjoyed the experience. Thanks for a great day🤗

Walking food tour Kilauea - Susan did a great job as a tour guide. A good way to learn more about Hawaiian culture and cuisine. Only 4 stops but size of food samples were larger than had on previous tours. Fish burrito to start with and bakery to select what you wanted at end were our favorites. Samples of taro burger, poke, and sushi were okay and provide tastes of local food, though not our favorites. All stops within easy walking distance so would be manageable by most everyone.

Tour guide was amazing so... - Tour guide was amazing so much information to give… but for a food tour not really that much for for the price you pay. 4 plates that you share with the group and one small beer. Kinda disappointed with the amount of food.

Great storyteller, super accommodating - Susan is a great storyteller and we learned a lot of Hawaiian history. Super accommodating with our picky eaters/diet preferences and added our little kid for no extra charge. I would have liked to know a little more about the people/processes from the food trucks and restaurants, and why she chose to showcase them over the many others.

Not worth the price tag! - It wasn’t bad… it wasn’t good. It was simply ehhh. The guide was a very nice lady. The “tour” was 4 places where you got a sample 1/2 of a single menu item) of something the place served. The first place was a fish market where we had 1/2 of a wrap. It was quite good. The second place served 1/2 of a pork sandwich which was nothing special. The third was a grocery store that had a kind of deli… where we had 1/2 of a Taro burger (look it up… we had to 😀). Again… OK. The last stop was a bakery where you could choose one item. All of the selections seemed quite good. Each stop seemed awkward… as if the restaurant/store had no idea we were coming, which I think was actually the case 😂). It was very unorganized an we had significant waits at each location… except the bakery. Along the way she tried to share a bit of history of the Island(s)… but it seemed like she simply read a Wikipedia page rather than having any real knowledge or insight. Leading a tour is a difficult thing. To talk with people for 3 hours requires some level of expertise. This seemed to be lacking on both the food and the history. At one point, completely out of context she began talking about how unfair colonialism is, how billionaires are taking over the island and how native Hawaiians can’t afford to live there. She went on for a few minutes then ended her speech with, “I’m just saying that to be fair.” Wait…What? Fair?? To who… in what sense? One minute she’s telling us about a Taro burger… the next was the evils of billionaires, the government and missionaries. Her little rant was out of the blue. Not connected to anything that was going on. It’s obviously an issue that is bothering her… but … it was just a weird… particularly for a food tour. All in all…. It wasn’t horrible… it just wasn’t that good or interesting. Surely not worth the $125 per person price tag.

Oops, something went wrong. - We booked and paid, no one showed up! Somehow I was also charged twice, so this was not a good experience.
