- Kukui Grove - We will meet all our travelers by the Kauai Bakery. It is time to set the mood right for the day with an introduction to the legendary Portuguese doughnuts known as malasadas. Get ready for a delicious sweet treat. Coffee and other savory treats are also available for purchase. Please arrive at 8:00am so you have time to enjoy some coffee and pastries before the start of the tour.
- Menehune Fish Pond - This is no ordinary pond, it is a jurassic size pond built in ancient times by the first inhabitants of Hawaii, the people from the Marquesas Islands. Marvel at the beautiful surroundings as we drive you through the Kipu Kai area. Learn about the fascinating legend of the Menehunes, the archeological and cultural importance of the pond. Many Hollywood movies have been filmed in this area. We will stop in two areas to take many pictures.
- Wailua Falls - Last but not least is time to visit one more waterfall, because you can’t never have enough waterfalls. Iconic Wailua Falls was featured on the opening scene of the Fantasy Island Tv show. You will have plenty of time for pictures. The perfect closure for a tour.
- Lydgate State Park - Time to take a stroll down the path by the beautiful Lydgate Beach Park, where you can soak your feet in the famous Morgan Ponds, learn about the ancient temple of worship were Hawaiians greeted the rising sun daily, the city of refuge, and more. This is a leisure walk for all age groups. you will have many picture opportunities.
- Opaekaa Falls - At this stop you will walk to visit two sites, Opaekaa Falls and the Wailua River lookout, located in Wailua town where the Hawaiian royalty lived in ancient times. Beautiful views and many picture ops await for you here.
- Poli’ahu Heiau - Heiaus are ancient Hawaiian temples of worship. Set high atop the mountains, Poliahu offers magnificent views of the ocean and the Wailua River. Your guide will share fascinating stories about Hawaiian history and culture, and maybe feed the feral chickens while we are at it.
- Kapaa - Lunch location will be announced on the day of the tour. It will depend on the weather. If it’s sunny we will take you to downtown Kapaa where you will have many food choices from food trucks to local markets and restaurants. If it’s rainy we will eat at Lava Lava Beach Club. Either way, we are sure you will love it!

We are a small, family-owned business. Our guides are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the island’s culture and history. Our tours are intimate, with a maximum of 13 guests, and our vehicles are clean, spacious, and air-conditioned. Also available as a private tour.

The bakery is located at the Kukui Grove Shopping Mall. Park anywhere near the bakery, located on the back side of the mall facing the Costco warehouse. We will meet in front of the bakery. If you have a car we will meet you at the bakery.

Excellent Excursion - This was the best Excursion. Our tour guide koko was amazing. She took us to 3 waterfalls, a donut shop, a beach that was amazing. It was just an awesome experience

Amazing Experience With Coco!! - Coco was an AMAZING tour guide that made our trip family oriented! She took her time with us and made the tour to be exctly what we wanted it be be. We were able to customize the trip to fit the needs and wants of the group. I wish more tour guides were this patient and considerate of those who they serve. I would truly recommend tha your use Kauai Soul Travel when you visit the island of Kauai!! You are in GREAT hands with Coco!!

Saw some beautiful places and SH - This tour was great! We saw some beautiful places, my favorite was the waterfall. Shasta was super fun and sweet and very knowledgeable. We had a delicious lunch and she gave us some great recommendations. The tour was the perfect length of time, not too long, not too short. Would definitely recommend and Shasta was awesome!

East side Kauai tour feedback - Coco was a great tour guide. We learned so much about the east side of Kauai from a historical perspective. She knew about how the first inhabitants and shared many stories of how they came and flourished. Coco is a log time resident of the east side and passed along many great pointers of places to visit. She has a great personality and was attentive to everyone on the tour. Highly recommend joining one of her tours.
