- Waimea Canyon State Park - Waimea Canyon State Park is a true treasure of Kauai, often called the mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific. We will make three stops, including the main lookout at an elevation of 3,400 feet. Admire the Canyon from different perspectives and catch a distant view of the Forbidden Island of Niihau. Numerous stories will be shared, and stunning photos will be captured.

Participants will embark on a journey to explore the highlights of Kauai’s South and West. Experience the awe-inspiring power of nature as legends, history, culture, and the geology of the islands are shared. The day is filled with numerous leisurely stops, along with opportunities to enjoy local cuisine and shopping.
This tour includes several stops at renowned sites such as Waimea Canyon, the Spouting Horn, Kauai Coffee, and more. For full route details, please refer to “What to Expect.”
Take a break from driving and let the tour guide show you Kauai from a local perspective.
- Provide us with a good phone number when booking. We will be contacting you the day before the tour via text with tour details and/or any changes. Acknowledge our text message when you get it.
- Wear comfortable clothing, good walking shoes, hat or cap and sunglasses.
- If you weigh 280 lbs and up please contact us so we can make arrangements to give you an extra seat. There will be an additional fee for this.
- No refunds pass the 24 hours prior to the start of the tour.
- In consideration for on time guests and our after hours duties we are unable to wait for late arrivals.
- We can drop off guest at the cruise port at 3:30pm, and the airport.

Interesting tour of South and West Kauai, stories, canyons, coffee and impressive statues. - Coco gave our group a fun, informative and useful tour! First things first: Our van arrived on time, in excellent, safe mechanical condition, and was clean as a whistle! That might matter more to some than others, but I value safety and cleanliness, so I'm including it! When the tour began, we enjoyed the many sights that Coco chose for us, as promised in the promotional web site. Along the way, she shared interesting historical, economic, political, botanical and social facts and stories obout certain scenic locations and Kauai as a whole. We had time for some of the elders in our group (*ahem*--my dear wife and I) to use restroom breaks and have a comfortable lunch, but we still got to see and walk around several interesting sites that I have not visited before, though I am a regular long-time visitor to Kauai. Coco answered our questions skillfully and thoroughly, offering us a few quizz questions along the way to check if we understood her stories, but also shared her favorite Kauai-related jokes and expert local knowledge, ranging from the fate of famous Hawaiian royalty or early explorers to the trials of ordinary people in times both recent and centuries ago. We also got great restaurant and shopping tips for the rest of our trip. Coco adapted our tour somewhat as the weather changed, but the backup plans were still worth a visit. So, I recommend Kauai Soul Travel completely. I would not hesitat to tour with this company again.

Highly Recommend - Lovely Way to See Kauai - We went on many tours during our trip but this was by far our favourite and most enjoyable. Our guide Shasta brought so much joy to our day and taught us so many wonderful things about the island. This was a 10/10 experience and I will be forever grateful for the Kauai Travel team. Mahalo

Authentic Kauai Experience with an Amazing Guide! - Coco was an absolutely amazing tour guide! Her vibrant personality and deep knowledge of Kauai made the experience unforgettable. She seemed to know everyone in town, which added a personal touch to the tour. We felt completely safe in her care and appreciated her friendly demeanor. Plus, she has a great eye for photography and helped capture some beautiful moments! Highly recommend touring with Coco if you want an authentic and enjoyable Kauai experience.

Kauai Soul is da best - Our guide, Coco Maria exhibited knowledge of the island and a sense of humor that made for a wonderfully enjoyable experience. It was great to
feel safe on a tour bus on winding roads while seeing the sights. The Waimea Canyon was breathtaking and the waterfalls amazing. Coco took us to spots that locals know and love for the great food, coffee and treats. Strongly recommended!

A great tour to do again! Kauai as you should see it! - A truly wonderful experience! Coco Maria was great, providing current info about the island as well as historic and geological info, making an educational trip as well as awesome sight seeing. I'll do the tour again when I return, and I highly recommend a tour with Coco to everyone visiting this island paradise. She points out the little things one might miss.

Fun packed day touring south/west Kauai - What a great day with Coco - very fun, personable, authentic, and knowledgeable! Had a nice small group (just 3 of us) and Coco was a fantastic guide through all of it. She had lots of great recos for the rest of the my trip, and plenty of stops for great photo ops along the tour. Highly recommended! Thanks, Coco!

Personal, Patient & Flexible - This was a great introduction to the island of Kauai that a friend and I took at the beginning of my vacation. The tour guide was a local who could provide history, insights and tips beyond the typical tour book! He was patient and flexible in adjusting to our interests and needs. For example, we like buying local for souvenirs. He found a shop with handmade jewelry for my friend and a studio with art prints for me. It was a great experience!

Coco Maria is Ohana! - Coco Maria is Ohana! She is so knowledgeable and provided such an engaging tour of Kauai. You could tell there was a lot of thought and time put into crafting such an amazing excursion.
Coco gave us great recommendations for food and attractions. She was also our good luck charm; between the sea turtle, monk seal, a beautiful sunny day, and yummy food, so many memories were captured and made.
Thank you, Coco, for giving us another great day on the beautiful island of Kauai. We highly recommend Coco as your personal tour guide. Get ready to have an amazing time!

Full day of fun! - Our tour guide, “Coco” was awesome and the experience felt more like it was led by a family member instead of a tour guide. Coco was very knowledgeable and personable, which made for a wonderful and fun filled day on the island. I highly recommend this full day excursion!🤙🏾
