- Kukui Grove - We will meet all our travelers by the Kauai Bakery. It is time to set the mood right for the day with an introduction to the legendary Portuguese doughnuts known as malasadas. Get ready for a delicious sweet treat. Coffee and other savory treats are also available for purchase. Please arrive at 8:00am so you have time to enjoy some coffee and pastries before the start of the tour.
- Menehune Fish Pond - This is no ordinary pond, it is a jurassic size pond built in ancient times by the first inhabitants of Hawaii, the people from the Marquesas Islands. Marvel at the beautiful surroundings as we drive you through the Kipu Kai area. Learn about the fascinating legend of the Menehunes, the archeological and cultural importance of the pond. Many Hollywood movies have been filmed in this area. We will stop in two areas to take many pictures.
- Wailua Falls - Last but not least is time to visit one more waterfall, because you can’t never have enough waterfalls. Iconic Wailua Falls was featured on the opening scene of the Fantasy Island Tv show. You will have plenty of time for pictures. The perfect closure for a tour.
- Lydgate State Park - Time to take a stroll down the path by the beautiful Lydgate Beach Park, where you can soak your feet in the famous Morgan Ponds, learn about the ancient temple of worship were Hawaiians greeted the rising sun daily, the city of refuge, and more. This is a leisure walk for all age groups. you will have many picture opportunities.
- Opaekaa Falls - At this stop you will walk to visit two sites, Opaekaa Falls and the Wailua River lookout, located in Wailua town where the Hawaiian royalty lived in ancient times. Beautiful views and many picture ops await for you here.
- Poli’ahu Heiau - Heiaus are ancient Hawaiian temples of worship. Set high atop the mountains, Poliahu offers magnificent views of the ocean and the Wailua River. Your guide will share fascinating stories about Hawaiian history and culture, and maybe feed the feral chickens while we are at it.
- Kapaa - Lunch location will be announced on the day of the tour. It will depend on the weather. If it’s sunny we will take you to downtown Kapaa where you will have many food choices from food trucks to local markets and restaurants. If it’s rainy we will eat at Lava Lava Beach Club. Either way, we are sure you will love it!

We designed this tour for those of you who don’t have all day to spend on a tour yet still want to take the day off from driving to experience Kauai’s East side in depth. You will visit 2 waterfalls, a beautiful beach park, and 3 archeological sites. We will enjoy lunch in Kapaa town, where we will give you many options and you can choose whichever one you desire.
We are a small family owned business. Our guides are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the culture and history of our island. Our tours are small, never to exceed 13, and our vehicles are clean, spacious and air conditioned. Also available as a private tour through Viator.

The bakery is located at the Kukui Grove Shopping Mall. Park anywhere near the bakery, located on the back side of the mall facing the Costco warehouse. We will meet in front of the bakery. If you have a car we will meet you at the bakery.

Coco gave a great tour - Small group as Coco took us to areas big buses couldn't go. She kept up an interesting talk about history, geology, culture, etc. While driving. Great personality. Loved each of the stops. You won't be disappointed.

Loved this fun-filled tour of East side of Kauai - We had a great time touring the East side of the island with our guide Coco. She created a perfect mix of fun, legends, history, and call-backs to movies shot here on the island. Small air conditioned van allows for more intimate group size. We saw waterfalls, beaches, historic sites and lunch in Kapa’a and so much more. Her years of experience living here provides expert advice on don’t miss parts of the island and excellent restaurants suggestions. She even helped us book a helicopter tour! Highly recommend- it flies by so fast and there’s no way you’d see this much on your own!

Fun-filled tour of East side of Kauai - We loved this fun-filled, fast, beautiful introduction to the East side of Kauai. Coco, our guide, was hilarious, engaging and mixed in so many legends and historical tidbits as well as movie call-backs from classics shot here on the island. All from the comfort of her air conditioned van. Small group size makes it a very personalized, intimate group experience. She also gives a local expert’s advice on don’t-miss sites and excellent restaurants. She even helped us book a helicopter tour! The time flew by. Don’t miss this one.

A fun waterfall day - A fun and educational tour. Our guide Coco is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. But more importantly for me, her great sense of humor and story telling ability made the time fly by. I highly recommend taking this tour.

The best tour in kauai. Look no further. - Coco was an awesome guide for our private group tour. She had a great plan laid out and was flexible to meet the needs of the group. She was also attentive and accommodating to the needs of some from our group whom had physical limitations. She is a very safe driver, extremely knowledgeable of the area and culture, very sweet and quite funny. She knows everybody and everywhere we went we ran into her local friends who were also quite friendly and helpful, adding to the experience. Our group was part of a niched retreat and she helped us find a great place for a meditation experience we had planned internally. I highly recommend Coco for anyone interested in a safe, informative and entertaining trip and I will be booking with her again personally next time I visit the island.

Coco treats you like family. - The best part of this tour was our amazing tour guide, Coco. She was so kind, funny and had great stories to tell about the area. She took us to beautiful waterfalls, historic sites, a great beach picnic area and a nice restaurant for lunch. Her van had large windows so it was easy to see everything while we were driving. She never rushed us and we felt very comfortable and lucky to be on her tour. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai.

Beautiful tour, best tour guide ever - What a beautiful landscape. We had to choose a shorter excursion because of our cruise departing early. This was the best choice, BUT, what made all the difference making the day from good to excellent was our guide COCO from Kaui Soul Travel

Entertaining & Fun - We were delighted to hear all the stories and lore from our guide. It was fun to just watch and let someone else do the driving, parking etc. The fish pond and stories about the mountains were great.
Our guide was fun and very entertaining.
Don’t hesitate to join this tour, 1 suggestion is to do it early in your stay, it will open up more choices for your trip.

Short, sweet & spectacular - Coco is the best tour guide & this was the best tour! We got to see so much of the island in a short amount of time. The landscape, waterfalls and beaches were beautiful. Coco is very knowledgeable of the island and a professional guide. She explained each location along with its’ history. She did an impressive job of catering the tour to our groups’ specific interests. I went with my family and there were two other families on the tour. We felt like old friends shortly into the tour because of how welcoming & comfortable Coco makes you feel. Delicious food, breathtaking views and new friends! Couldn’t ask for more.
(Extra bonus her van is immaculate)
