The Fern Grotto is a geological wonder of Kauai where ferns grow upside down from the roof of the grotto. A natural amphitheater of lava rock and tropical vegetation is the perfect backdrop as you are serenaded and entertained by Hawaiian musicians and hula dancers.
- Opaekaa Falls - Visit Kauai’s East Side 151-foot tall and 40-foot wide waterfall cascading down into a hidden pool. “Opaekaa” means “rolling shrimp” which were once abundant in the stream.
- Sleeping Giant Trail - Learn of the tails of Sleeping Giant mountain on your East-Side drive.
- Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge - Visit Kauai’s bird sanctuary, see firsthand the refuge’s seabirds like the red-footed boobies, the wedge-tailed shearwaters, and the red and white-tailed tropicbirds. Also check out the 100 year old, 52-ft Lighthouse. Lighthouse is only open on Thursdays and Fridays.

Discover Kauai 🌞🌅 - What a great tour and the stops were wonderful, some fantastic views.
The tour on land and river was great and the service was second to none, and the lunch provided was very nice.
We went to the beach, saw waterfalls, walked in the rainforest and went down the river, seeing some scenes from different movies (Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park to name a few).
Most amazing, saw the rain descending on us, which I've not seen before.
I would definitely recommend this tour.

Scott was a wonderful,... - Scott was a wonderful, friendly tour guide who showed us the best parts of Kauai. He's clearly respected by the locals as everyone welcomed his tour group warmly and waved hello to him. We had an amazing time on our tour!

Interesting tour of beautiful Kauai with great guide - We booked this tour through our cruise ship, Norwegian Pride of America. We were met at the port by the star of the show, Our driver/guide, Domi.
The tour started early, 7am and was for 6 hours, so we were back at the ship to enjoy the last afternoon and evening before cathedral cruise ends back in Honolulu. We were taken on a comfortable air conditioned bus as a group of 14 travellers, around the north shore, which is very beautiful and green as Kauai receives more rainfall that pretty much anywhere else in the world. We also had a river cruise to see the fern grotto, which was nice.
As said earlier, the tour highlight was Domi, the guide, who did not stop, the whole tour, making us laugh, teaching us the history of Kauai, teaching us key Hawaiian words. He is a special tour guide and therefore made the tour very special.

Fantastic!!! - We did this terrific tour with Ken. He was the best!! Very informative, knowledgeable, and polite! We had a wonderful time. Ken kept us informed the whole time, and was very organized. He went out of his way to find a great spot for lunch. The box lunch was great! He is very passionate about his job, and is a terrific asset to your tour offerings!!! Great tour, great guide great experience. - This was our last tour of our cruise and Ken made it a great experience. His love of Kauai and its people was clearly evident as he shared his knowledge and special places with us. He made us all feel wlcome and appreciated. Thanks Ken for a great experience.

Gorgeous Amazing Kauai - My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful day. Gorgeous scenery, excellent service, and great lunch stop. Our tour guide, Scott, was so much fun, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour, Best of Land and River Tour.

Perfect tour, great tour guide - What a great tour! We loved everything we did, from the Wailua River cruise to see the Fern Grotto to the Kilauea Point Lighthouse to our great lunch at Chicken in a Barrel. This tour may seem a bit pricey, but it's truly not given what you'll see and the service you'll receive. And Scott is an amazing tour guide. He has a wealth of information to share, and the perfect personality to introduce people to the beautiful island of Kaua'i. Additionally, my husband has mobility issues, and Scott was so gentle and helpful--we couldn't have asked for anyone better to travel with. We're planning to take a tour of the west side of the island while we're here, and we're going to ask for Scott again. No matter what, you can't go wrong here. Thanks so much again!

Nice way to see the island! - The boat trip to the fern grotto was wonderful. I thought I'd need sneakers for the walk through the rainforest, but the trail is well paved. I could have worn my sandals. Scott was our guide for the rest of the tour, and he was amazing. A very kind gentleman with lots of knowledge about the island. He was nice to talk to as well. Great tour!
