Highlights
- Kapaa - Our day together will start at Holey Grail Donuts and Mokihana Cafe. You are up for a treat! the donuts are made out of taro dough, with local ingredients, and fresh to order. They are next level! If you want to enjoy coffee and donuts before the tour starts please arrive here at 8:30am. Your guide will arrive 10 mts before start time of 9am.
- Wailua River State Park - We will now head on a drive through Kauai’s backcountry on our way to our next stop, Wailua town. Great and Sacred Wailua was the main religious and political center of the island during ancient times. The Ali’i or royalty resided in this town, and most heiaus (temples of worship) were built here. In this area we will visit Poliahu Heiau, Opaekaa Falls, and Wailua River lookout (largest navigable river in the state). As you enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds you in every stop, your guide will share the fascinating stories of ancient times, and how the islands have changed in modern times.
- Wailua Falls - You can’t never have enough waterfalls on your vacation. From Wailua town we will head to Lihue town to visit the beautiful and famous Wailua Falls from the famous TV show “Fantasy island” You will have ample time to marvel at this beauty, take pictures, and check out some of the local vendors.
- Spouting Horn - On our way to the Spouting Horn we will drive through the famous Tree Tunnel. Get ready to marvel at the power of nature at this ancient lava tube that became a water blow hole due to erosion caused by ocean waves. We will share the Hawaiian legend tied to this place, sound effects and all.
- Poipu Beach Park - Weather permitting we will visit this iconic and beautiful beach park on the south side of Kauai. You will have time to take a short stroll and take some pictures. This beach is know as the bedroom for the Hawaiian green sea turtles as they like to come and rest in the sand, so we will be on the lookout for them.
- Old Koloa Town - Lunch will take place in the historic town of Koloa where you will have many food options, from restaurants to food trucks. You will be free to choose what you want. We will spend about 1.5 hours here so you have plenty of time to eat, stroll through this charming plantation town, and do some shopping for locally made souvenirs (optional).
- Menehune Fish Pond - We will visit the lookout for of Kauia’s oldest archeological sites located in a breathtaking wild life reserve in Lihue town. As you enjoy the beautiful scenery we will share with you the restoration project that is taking place, the legend of the little people of Hawai’i known as “The Menehunes” who built the pond, and the many Hollywood movies filmed in this area.

- Provide a good phone number when booking. We will be contacting you the day before the tour via text with tour details and/or any changes. Acknowledge our text when you get it.
- Private tours include pick up and drop off near the cruise ship, at the airport, and some hotels. Let us know where you will be staying.
- If you weight 300 lbs + you need to contact us to let us know so we can better accommodate you. You will need to provide an additional fee that will secure you an extra seat.
- No cancellations pass the 48 hours prior to that start of the tour.
- Wear comfortable clothes. Sandals and flip flops are great for this tour. I recommend wearing a cap/hat, and sunglasses.

Good way to start off your visit of the island! - We did this tour our first full day. Got us oriented on what else we would like to see during our stay. And our guide gave us wonderful recommendations on future activities while we were there. Tour itself was wonderful! History was great and the guide had a fun way of conveying it. Highly recommend.

Excellent, worthwhile tour! - Coco was the most friendly, knowledgeable tour guide telling legendary stories, fun facts, jokes and answered anything you wanted to know about Kauai. There was not one question left unanswered and she was so lighthearted and funny the entire time. She was patient with my elderly parents, moved at the group’s pace, and did not ever seem bored or hurried in her job. I would not hesitate to recommend her or this tour to anyone coming to Kauai. Thank you for the most enjoyable day!!

CoCo the tour guide ROCKS - A must take tour! - What a great trip. Coco was fabulous, we just loved her. And she knows a whole hellavalot about Kauai for a Venezuelan chic. She was all over the island in her bus. This is a must take tour.

Best Way to Experience Kauai - Cocoa is the best! She gave us so much culture, history, laughs, great views & recommendations. We had so much fun, saw waterfalls, sea turtles, monk seals, ate great food & explored the east and south. She gave us great guidance on what to do after the tour as well. 10/10 would recommend!
