• Kukui Grove - Begin your day with a local delight: freshly baked treats. Depending on availability, we’ll visit either Kauai Bakery or Midnight Bear Bakery.
• Spouting Horn - Witness this breathtaking natural wonder, a water blowhole in sunny Poipu formed by an extinct volcano. Experience the force of nature as ocean waves cause water to spout several feet into the air. En route, we’ll drive through the renowned Tree Tunnel.
• Hanapepe Valley Lookout - This lush green valley serves as a perfect introduction to Waimea Canyon. Partially owned by the Robinson family, it is also home to Jurassic Falls. We’ll pause here for 5-10 minutes for photos.
• Waimea Canyon State Park - Prepare to be awed by the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” a highlight of our tour and one of Kauai’s most stunning locations. We’ll make four stops, including the main lookout, Waipo’o Falls, and Pu’uhinahina, allowing ample time for capturing various perspectives of the canyon. Restroom facilities are available throughout most of the park.
• Waimea Pier - Enjoy a leisurely walk along the historic Waimea Pier, constructed in the mid-1800s during the whaling era. Here, you’ll see Waimea Bay, one of our few black sand beaches, and the site where the first Western explorer landed in Hawaii.
• Waimea Canyon State Park - As this is a private tour, you can choose your lunch spot. We recommend options like Chicken in a Barrel, Kauai Shrimp, Tikki Tacos, and Da Booze Shop, all located in historic Waimea town.
• Hanapepe - The historic town of Hanapepe was revitalized post-World War II and transformed into an artistic hub. Walk across the swinging bridge over the Hanapepe River, built in 1912, explore art galleries, a quirky bookstore, and shop for locally made crafts and souvenirs. If you’re a fan of Lilo and Stitch, we have a special surprise for you. Hanapepe retains the charm of the old sugar plantation days with its architecture and relaxed atmosphere.

A total of 8 stops will be made, including 4-5 stops at the famous mini Grand Canyon of the Pacific, the powerful Spouting horn water geiser, Cooks landing, and charming Hanapepe town. You will enjoy freshly baked goodies at a local bakery, get to choose your own lunch spot from any of recommendations, and have many amazing picture opportunities while you soak in the culture and history of the islands.
