Great time, good work out, enjoyable! - Our guide Jake was knowledgeable, fun, and nice. He cut hiking sticks for us which came in really handy as we walked in the trial leading to the falls. He knew a lot about the floral and fauna in the area and kept us entertained with stories from Hawaiian history.

Best kayaking experience of my life! - The tour guide was absolutely amazing. Very patient with first time kayak folks and also we had the most beautiful views. The kayaking and the hiking were not overly strenuous and the guide was very patient and extremely informative on Hawaiian culture! Would absolutely recommend this to everybody.

Beautiful falls & scenery, need a diff tour guide - Our tour guide, Mana, was mad at us because he thought we ignored everything he taught us in kayaking when we did NOT, we were genuinely trying our best to keep up. He mentioned the F word telling us to paddle harder and got mad at us for being behind when it was our first time kayaking. He discouraged us from continuing and said he thinks we wouldn’t make it to the hiking trail - telling us to consider going back. My friend and I wanted to continue so we did. His impatience and anger left my friend and I upset and frustrated, in tears as we were hiking. The main highlights of this activity are swimming at the secret falls, scenery, and some friendly folks we met in our group.

Beautiful view and excursion, rude tour guide - Mana continuously discouraged my friend and I from moving forward to the hiking portion while learning how to kayak for the first time. Kept commenting we were too behind, how we aren’t the type to get better after receiving feedback and snickering when we were trying our best. Later yelled at us sarcastically asking if we knew the meaning of steer straight and throwing out the f word. Kayaking route, hiking trail and waterfall were incredibly beautiful and worth it though. Would recommend this excursion but a different tour guide, changed the whole experience.
