Full day on the water. - The secret waterfall. So worth the hike. Really must tell everyone to bring the proper shoes though.

Great paddle and hike! - Fun experience and adventure. Was a workout but a pleasant one! The rental person was friendly and helpful to instruct how to navigate the river and the hiking trail. He loaded up the paddle boards, instructed us on how to do it after, gave us paddles and dry bags. This was one of our top experiences on Kauai! Tip: go earlier to avoid the winds coming off the ocean on the return paddle. Wear water shoes with good grip as the trail is slick with mud in spots.

First time SUPers - Great experience. We rented two stand up boards. Were givin instructions on where to drive, park, paddle. Very clear instructions. Givin everything we needed. Dry bag, foams for tying the boards down, straps. We had an awesome time, 10/10 we’d do it again!

Amazing Service and Equipment - I cant rate KauaiSUP high enough! They were fantastic from the very start. The girl who helped us from the start was extremely helpful and charming. She explained everything well, and helped us load everything. We felt extremely confident with every step. The waterfall was beautiful and inspired. We ran into a medical issue with one of our party which caused us to leave a paddle board behind - KauaiSUP was EXTREMELY flexible, helpful and understanding. If you are in Kauai, this is the only place to rent from.

Fun Journey! - The excursion was very fun and the hike was beautiful! They weren't kidding when they said the paddle board back is much harder than then the paddle to the hike as the wind is fully against you. Would definitely recommend for anybody who wants to experience the beautiful nature of Kauai.

Meh… - This is simply a paddle board rental with a copy of a paper map. There is no guide, no tour, nothing. You are responsible for getting the board in and out of the water and back on your vehicle. It is a very long track to the falls, large boats go by you creating a wake, the water is not clear… I wish I had known this is simply a paddle board rental and we can take the boards for the day anywhere we want.

Rude Surfer Dude at the Counter - Our disappointment with the service I received at Kauai SUP on July 10, 2024. My experience was unfortunately marred by the unprofessional and rude behavior of one of the staff. On July 9th, I called your establishment and spoke with a friendly lady who informed me that booking directly through you would cost $60 per paddleboard. Based on this information, my group of four decided to rent from your company. However, when we arrived the next morning, we were greeted by a male employee (with a "surfer dude" appearance) who informed us that the cost was $62 per board. When I politely mentioned the price I was quoted over the phone, his response was abrupt and discourteous: "That's not my problem!" This rude response shocked my entire group. The employee's unprofessional behavior continued when he aggressively solicited tips by placing the tip jar extremely close to my face while I was paying. Later, as we were leaving with our boards, he loudly called out, "Tips are appreciated!" despite our assurance that we would consider tipping upon returning the equipment (when he does not deserve any tip at all!) This type of behavior is unacceptable. Not only was there a discrepancy in the quoted price, but the employee's attitude was confrontational and made us feel unwelcome. The paddle-boarding self-guided tour was great! The rude surfer dude's behavior was not.
