Stunning scenery while kayaking down the river! - Wonderful experience on this beautiful river. We learned a lot along the way from our fantastic guide, Trey! Sights were amazing & enjoyed a fresh sandwich & delicious, fresh pineapple at the bottom of the falls we hiked to. It was a physical excursion, but we absolutely LOVED this tour! Highly recommend!

Do it! - This was AMAZING! My husband and I attended January 25, winter months, and the weather was a little rainy. However! It paused for this amazing experience. The kayak is such a leisurely ride. The water is calm and it wasn’t even that cold. Under the beating sun it actually felt great. The views are to die for, without giving too much away. I love waterfalls and this was truly a beautiful one. The hike was a little muddy so definitely wear good hiking shoes but it wasn’t difficult overall. Our tour guide was Thomas and he managed to learn our names in the first 10 min and somehow remembered them the whole time! All 12 of us! He also spit some really cool fun facts along the way as well as his little side humor. Such a gem. Lunch was yummy and definitely enough. My husband and I did bring snacks just in case but didn’t really need them. Water is a must! We really enjoyed this activity! Well worth it!

Fun family activity on Kauai - We had a great trip with Thomas. The kayaking and hiking require only easy/moderate effort, and the payoff of the falls is worth it. Thomas shared his knowledge of the area as we hiked and prepared a nice lunch for us at the falls.

We had the best... - We had the best experience with Sierra as our guide. We thought about renting kayaks and going without a guide but I am so glad we changed our minds. She made great recommendations for after our adventure and everything she suggested was worth the try.

Be prepared so you can enjoy to the fullest - Wearing the right shoes makes or breaks this trip. You get wet on the kayaks and definitely during the hike. You hike through streams, over rocks, through huge root sustems. You need sturdy shoes. No beach water shoes. It's beautiful but you need to be fit enough for a 4 mile kayak trip and a couple miles hike through a variety of conditions.

The kayak and hiking... - The kayak and hiking experience was great. The views are spectacular. However, it could have been superb. Overall our guide did not appear to be engaged. We felt rushed in the kayaking and hiking, not the waterfall. There were no moments to take in the scenery or take pictures. When the guide would stop to point out a plant or other feature he did not wait for the full group to arrive before speaking so by the time the back of the group got near he was done and moving on. During kayaking on the way there he did not check on the group and we felt rushed to keep up. There were no kayaking instructions for those unfamiliar. Thomas put a lot of effort and attention to the lunch presentation and it was beautiful. He was friendly.
