A once in a lifetime experience…we loved it! - Wow! One word to describe our waterfall rappelling experience with Naan & Shiz who were our guides for this tour. Been visiting Kauai the last 8 yrs and thought we did everything possible. It was only the last 2 months we realize water rappelling was available so when we get planned our return trip to Kauai for the Thanksgiving holiday, we made sure to book this tour with Da Life Outdoors. We can now say, “We did it!!!” Waterfall rappelling is checked off our adventure bucket list! It was a truly unique, exhilarating experience and more fun than we expected. First, was a practice run on dry land. Next, we hiked down to the 30 foot waterfall in 2 separate groups of 4. Last, we hiked through a muddy trail and crossed a stream to the 60 foot waterfall. This is a once in a lifetime experience and a must try. We plan to make this a regular activity when in Kauai so long there is a waterfall to go down from. Next time, it will be rappelling the middle of the waterfall rather than half and half since it was our first time and didn’t know what to expect and how to deal with water splashing down constantly on us. Also, let me be clear that while it was our first time, Naan & Shiz made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the tour and we had so much fun with our small group of 8. Waterfall rappelling with Da Life Outdoors is a must try at least once while visiting Kauai! Mahalo Naan & Shiz! See you again soon.🫶🏼💦🌴🌺

Hangin Out 60 ft up with Da Outdoor life - We had an amazing adventure. Mitch and Naan were great guides and made the trip even better with their upbest comments and personalities. Although my fiance had never repelled before, she loved it and is looking forward to doing it again. The only thing I would change is if tour offered something to eat after the rapelling is done. Small, local, pupus would be great!

Exhilaratingly fun - This was such an incredible experience!! The instructors were fantastic and guided us from a simple dirt rappel to the awesome 60 foot waterfall rappel. This is no joke!! If you are an adrenaline seeker, this is the tour for you. We had the most amazing time -- one of the highlights of my time in Hawaii.

What a rush! Repelling a 30 and 60 foot waterfall! - We could not have asked for a better experience repelling waterfalls while in Kauai. We felt safe with our amazing guides. We met some great fellow adventurers. Every moment was a blast and worth every penny. Be prepared to test your limits!

An experience that I will always remember! - What a fabulous time we had! I have been visiting Kauai for 30 years and never heard of Da Life Outdoors until this year. A hidden gem! Waterfall Rappelling is so much fun and it something that I will share with my guests in upcoming trips for sure! The guides were so helpful and made me feel safe the whole time. Feeling the warm waterfall as I was rappelling down was an experience that I will never forget! Don't pass on this hidden gem of an outdoor activity. 10 stars!!!!

Unlike any other adventure! - This was the coolest adventure! Just viewing the waterfall alone is spectacular, but then to rappel down it 60 feet was just the most amazing adventure. Our two Guides, Matt and Naan, were so helpful and encouraging. The group we were in ranged from a young teen to older adults and everyone was able to learn the method and do it on their own. Highly recommend!

One of our Favorite Excursions! A Must-Do Excursion! - This was one of our favorite excursions while in Hawaii on our Honeymoon! Our tour guides, Nan and Matt, were awesome, patient, and so personable. My husband and I were the only ones on our tour, which was incredible! We brought our GoPro, and they had an attachment for the helmet, which was awesome! They started by demonstrating how to rappel on a dry, small wall, and then it was our turn. We felt comfortable after going down once and headed to a small waterfall. After the small waterfall, we went to the big waterfall. Since it was only the two of us, we both had 3 opportunities to rappel down the big waterfall. We started on an easier path before working our way to the "washing machine" path. If you're looking for a new, exciting experience, this is the one for you!

Fabulous, super fun, good safety procedures. Definitely will go again. - Fabulous! Safety oriented, learned on a dry dirt wall, then the waterfall repelling as awesome. Got to walk under/behind the waterfall. We were provided with Tabis shoes worked great on the muddy trail - I subsequently bought a pair at Walmart! .

Awesome, had a great time! - This excursion was awesome. It was just my wife and I and the crew explained everything, were super helpful and nice. Although this is on the pricier side, I definitely would recommend this if you want a unique experience and in a super small group setting. It was beautiful. It was fun it was exhilarating as well since there was an element of danger that added to the excursion. but that’s all part of it. definitely worth the money. This is the opposite of other group excursions that we’ve done where you’re herded like cats. So if you want a semi to semi private excursion, this is the one to book .
