Additional Information
We will begin our journey in the morning from your hotel, with a drive lasting around 2.5 hours. The museum-reserve spans a large area featuring hills, canyons, and rocks. It houses several collections of petroglyphs from various eras, all of which we will explore.
You will have the opportunity to learn about the lives of people from different periods and see unique petroglyphs ranging from the Bronze Age to the late medieval period, all documented on these rocks.

Wonderful Experience - One of the hughlights of our kazakhstan trip was the petroglyphs tour. Mr Noor Sultan was so well-versed with the structures and made it such a fun learning experience. It was an incredibly pleasant experience. He was very helpful with other information about the country as well.
His extra care to make our experience comfortable is a rare quality. If you are a student of anthropology, then it's a must do

An amazing visit to the unesco designated petroglyph area - This is an excellent tour of the ancient petroglyphs within the Unesco designated heritage area.
Nur Sultan was our guide for this full day excursion starting by picking us up from our hotel in the morning. Nur Sultan is very knowledgeable of the rock art and the stories of the petroglyphs. His passion for this area and kind approach made this full day excursion a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Nur Sultan to anyone wanting a professional guide to explore this very special area.

AMAZING Guided Tour - What an amazing experience! To see these ancient petroglyphs with a knowledgeable guide like Nursultan gave us an understanding of the history and culture that has lived in this area for thousands of years and still honoured in Kazak tradition today. Seeing the petroglyphs in person with a guide like Nursultan brings the stories of this art work to life in a way that photos just can’t portray.

Excellent tour - Sultan was an excellent guide. We talked about many topics on the way to the petroglyphs, and he provided a lot of interesting interpretation not just about the petroglyphs themselves but also the rituals associated with the site.

A great tour of beautiful rock art - These ancient petroglyphs are well worth a visit. Nur Sultan is an excellent guide and ensured that our trip ran perfectly. I was given a lengthy guided tour of these amazing petroglyphs and with Nur Sultan's translation I learned more about them than I could have otherwise. He also explained much about Kazakhstan and its history which I found interesting and informative.
