The inaugural festival was held over a century ago, in 1903. Currently, the Rose Festival is a global event, attracting and delighting thousands of tourists and visitors to Kazanlak. Experience VIP access to the Festival of Rose this year!

The Festival is held annually on the last weekend of May or the first weekend of June. In 2025, the main events of the festival are scheduled for June 6th to 8th.

Several activities are hosted at the Damascena complex.
