GREAT EXPERIENCE - The experience has been great, everything was perfect, our driver Sammy was a crack, with a lot of experience, attentive to us, fun I recommend them 100%, plus a super reasonable price, the best I found and it was a success.

My dream completed with Karibu Safaris. - The tour guide and driver were so nice. They were knowledgeable and kept us entertained on the long drives. The accommodations were fantastic. The Mara Serana Lodge were terrific. They had great food and lots of drinks. The staff was very friendly. The game drives were great. We saw lots of animals. It was exciting when a lion came very close to the car. We saw lots of zebras, giraffes, and other animals.

Awesome experience, even best tour guide (Mike) - We booked one day prior to doing the safari, which was very risky and at first were very scared since they didn't answer too clearly. They told us they'd picked us up at 6:15 and arrived 6:50 which already gave us bad vives, a car picked us up and took us to the office and the meeting wasn't that great, we thought we wouldn't go to the safari, but we paid in cash there and then it was a GREAT experience. The guy was called MIKE (ASK FOR HIM, HE'S GREAT, HE'S THE BEST TOUR GUIDE). The experience was just awesome, I went with two more friends and it was the whole minivan just for us which made it really confrotable and MIKE was always asking us how where we and if we needed anything (bathroom, eating, buying things) thoughout the journey. You won't regret booking with this company, specially if Mike is your tour guide.

Unforgettable experience. Thanks Karibu Safaris - Responsive booking. No price gouging; top quality yet affordable. I was greeted by two friendly tour guides, Castro, and Mark (ask for them) at 5 am. The vehicle was comfortable and in great shape. I was given interesting information about the animals and geography throughout the day. The team was tireless and committed the entire trip to finding compelling animals and situations. I saw the big five, ate well, and stayed at a great camp in Maasai Mara. I was very fortunate to have chosen Karibu Safaris.

Amazing SAFARi - I was on a 2 nights 3 days masai mara and one night lake nakuru budget safari with Karibu Kenya Safari in June 2019. The price quoted was way very cheap and the safari was arranged perfectly without any shortcomings. Safari, airport pickup and drop off arranged perfectly. Hotels booked in Nairobi for 1st day last day was Okay for a budget safari. Masai Mara Safari with our Edward and Lake Nakuru safari with Mr joffrey was Amazing. They did all the way possible to show us big 5. We saw all the big 5s (Lions, Leopard, Rhinos, Elephants and Buffalo s). And the whether was sunny in the morning and chilly at night. The was little rain on the way masai mara and that didnt affect at all our safari. Our host at Masai Mara camp Mr William arranged masai village visit at an additional pay of $20, and it was amazing to know their culture and lifestyle. All in all it was amazing safari. Thanks to Karibu safaris in Kenya.

Not good - We booked the tour for 4 days (2 days Masai Mara and then 2 days Lake Nakuru) in a jeep. The 2 days in Masai Mara in the jeep we're fine and the guide Peter explained good. But after 2 days we we're pushed into a minibus with an other Tour operator to continue the tour for the next 2 days. We didnt get back any money. This behaviour is really not fair. But they did it with many people. So be very careful to book with them!.

A joke my darling - My friends and i are south african so this wasnt our first safari, but it was our first time in Kenya so it was a no brainer. The camp conditions was just about the only positive thing i can mention. The is very little communication from the team, they changed our camp site and didnt inform us, also the water provided is room temp amd theres no place to get ice on the way. John, our driver, God bless him seemed abit confused by us, there was abit of a language barrier. The lunch was sub par, we didnt eat much of it. The game drive seemed go on and on, i even took a nap because we werent spotting any wild life. The worst part though was the inauthetic masia village, it all came a cross very performative. The entirw thing was just about getting the most money out of you. Everyone involved is hyper conserned about the tip but not really engaged in giving you great service. I would not recommend esp for people who have had other safari experiences.

Bad experience - The two days one night Tour to Maasai Mara does not worth It's money. We had hardly 3 hours of Game Drive in total, didnt spot many animals ,we never got our bottles of water as described and our guide Ambros said that he doesn't carry waters. In general, he had no idea on how tourists should be treated.

Avoid - This company are a disgrace, no concept of customer care what so ever. I was staying appx 15miles from the center of Nairobi so it was arranged for me to be picked up at 06.00 to join the tour for 08.00 The pick up driver didn't show up until 06.30, there was then a nightmare journey into Nairobi, in "rush hour" traffic. With the driver overtaking and cutting in and out of the traffic, on occasion even leaving the road to drive on the verge and undertake. Through all this he was constantly on his phone and driving one handed. At 08.00 and still not at the departure point he was redirected, to a service station on "the By-pass" we turned and retraced our steps arriving back at a point we had been 3/4 hr earlier and onto the By-pass at the service station I then had to wait on a bench for another 1& 1/4 hrs. I finally joined the tour bus 3&1/4 hrs after waiting at my hotel. There then ensued another hair raising journey to the Masai Mara. The driver Jason seemed incapable of seeing a vehicle in front that he didn't want to over/undertake. Barely slowing down when we left the highway onto the unmade road to the reserve, with all the discomfort for his passengers that entailed. In the reserve he was still driving at totally in appropriate speed bumping and jolting us all over the place. When we arrived at the Lodge he was briefing on the next day, when he advised me this didn't apply to me as it was a 3 day tour and I was only on 2 days so I had to change cars in the morning to one returning to Nairobi. Frankly I was relieved, but I shouldn't have been, there was more to come. The next morning we left for the a.m. drive, around mid way round he pointed out a "leopard" (it was in fact a Cheetah). There were a number of other cars at this point, viewing, so he decided this was a good opportunity for me to change cars. By now I was just glad to get out of his car. I settled into the new car for my journey back, but no. As we exited the park I was transferred to another car. James the driver of this car was a careful and considerate driver and I began to enjoy the journey back, it wasn't to last. When we stopped for lunch myself and 3 others were advised we had to change again, James was going up to Nakura but our driver was here where we were. After lunch we came out to find James still there, but no sign of the other driver. We were told he had had to go to Naivasha to pick some others up for Nairobi. We could wait where we were for him to come back or go to Naivasha (James was passing on his way to Nakura) to meet up with him. I decided to go along for the ride, Just as well, it was almost 2 hrs before we got back to pick up the others. The result of this was that we were now running 2Hrs late and arrived back in Nairobi during the evening rush hour. Instead of arranging to drop me where I had been picked up and to avoid the traffic I was taken into the suburbs of Nairobi where the driver got lost looking for the accommodation of the others. After 3 other drop off points I was the last to be dropped off, in the center of Nairobi on a street corner, where I met the car to take me to the hotel. Another slow rush hour drive saw me arrive at my hotel at 20.45hrs,some 4and a half hours late. A close to 40hr nightmare. OK they say you get what you pay for, go to cheap you get cheap but this was totally unacceptable standard. They didn't seem to give any consideration what so ever to needs, or comfort of their clients. Don't compromise your own comfort and safety, pay a bit more and use another operator. I had other trips, with other companies, that were great (see other reviews).
