Highlights
  • Mahsuri’s Tomb - The tour begins at 9:30 AM with a meet-up at the hotel or cruise terminal. Our first stop is the main attraction, Mahsuri’s Tomb, the site where Mahsuri died. The legend of Mahsuri is said to explain Langkawi’s recent success, and the island’s growing prosperity suggests it has overcome the curse. Afterward, we will visit Telaga Tujuh Waterfall.

Description

Mahsuri Tomb-Makam Mahsuri is a site dedicated to the legendary Princess Mahsuri, located in Kampung Mawat, 12 km from Kuah. It is also known as Makam Mahsuri. Many natural attractions on the island are steeped in tales, and the legend of Mahsuri is perhaps the most famous.

  • Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls - Named after seven natural pools connected by a flowing river, Seven Wells Waterfall is one of Langkawi’s most stunning natural spectacles. Located within the Machinchang Cambrian Geoforest Park, the falls are divided into two sections: the upper pools and the lower pools, separated by a dramatic vertical waterfall cascading down a 91-meter-high cliff.

Cooling off in a refreshing natural pool is the reward for hiking through the humid rainforest to reach the serene waterfall, surrounded by leafy trees with playful monkeys swinging between the branches.

First are the lower pools, accessible after climbing around 200 steps. These are the most popular due to their easy access, view of the vertical waterfall, and large plunge pool at the bottom of a slippery rockface. Dedicated hikers can continue the climb, totaling 638 steps, to reach the upper pools. Here you’ll find the fall’s namesake seven pools of various depths, shapes, and sizes.

  • Atma Alam Batik Village - (Please note this attraction is closed every Tuesday). Next, we head to Atma Alam Batik Art Village, where you can witness the traditional batik printing process using wax and dye. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase silk hand-pulled and local handicraft cloth.

Atma Alam Batik Art Village-Atma Alam Batik Art Village is a batik center designed to attract tourists and promote the art of batik in Langkawi. Located in Padang Matsirat, the center was created by Aza Osman, an oil painter, and Roshadah Yusof, a batik artist, to showcase the creative spirit of batik.

  • Pantai Cenang - Next, we proceed to Cenang Street. Along Cenang Street, you can walk by the beach, do some duty-free shopping, and visit Underwater World, one of the largest marine and freshwater aquariums in Southeast Asia.

Cenang Street-Pantai Cenang is the busiest beach town on Langkawi Island, featuring a diverse mix of cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and duty-free outlets along its scenic beach strip. Just a 10-minute drive from Langkawi International Airport, it’s a popular holiday destination for families, thanks to its kid-friendly attractions such as Underwater World Langkawi, Rice Garden Museum, and Kiki Club at Meritus Pelangi Resort & Spa.

  • Eagle Square - Then we proceed to Eagle Square, which features a 39-foot-high (12-meter) eagle statue, the symbol of Langkawi. If you’re looking to buy duty-free alcohol, cigarettes, and chocolate, you can stop for some quick shopping in Kuah Town.

Eagle Square-Dataran Lang, also known as Eagle Square, is one of Langkawi’s most famous man-made attractions. The large sculpture of an eagle poised to take flight is a sight that greets visitors arriving by ferry. The 12-meter-tall statue is one of the island’s most recognizable landmarks.

  • Kuah - Kuah Town-Kuah Town is the largest city in the southeast of the main island. It has less traffic compared to beaches like Pantai Kok or Pantai Cenang. Most importantly, it is a great place for shopping, with numerous duty-free shops lining the streets, making the city very appealing.

When you leave Kuah Town, your tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.
