Still thinking about this - I actually don’t usually write reviews. And we did this to her last summer, and I didn’t write a review then but as we’re getting ready for spring break and looking to book a food tour in a new destination, I can’t stop thinking about this tour. Whenever I travel with my kids, we do food tours because I like to expose them to new things. I don’t expect them to eat everything on the tour and I don’t expect them to like everything, they are kids. But they have discovered cool new things like kombucha, escargot, and pølser. It’s not unusual for them to leave things uneaten on a food tour and if they leave hungry, that’s fine, there are McDonald’s everywhere but at least they tried. I don’t feel like it was a waste of money because they got a cool new experience. Andrew, on the other hand felt differently. He went out of his way to make sure that my kids got something to eat at every single stop, if they didn’t like avocado toast there was bread and jam. If the tacos were too spicy, they got special tacos. At first, I was a little uncomfortable like my kids were scamming him or something… but as the tour went on, and he kept checking in with them, I realized that he just genuinely cared that they were having the same great experience that all of the adults on his tours do. We are done food tours, all of the world, in famous culinary cities, but this remains one of our favorite, and a gold standard of service

Awesome Food Tour - We decided to do a walking food and drink tour in the Cultural District in downtown Kelowna. Andrew, our tour guide with "A Taste of Kelowna Food Tours", did a wonderful job of not only taking us to some of the greatest food places in town, but filling us in on the culture and history of the area. We would highly recommend it.

History lesson while enjoying great food and drink! - We had a free afternoon while visiting Kelowna this week, and decided to book this tour. It was great! Andrew was knowledgeable and entertaining. We have been to Kelowna many times, but never understood any of the history. Andrew has cured us of that, all while introducing us to 7 great places to visit when we come to town. The food and drinks were outstanding. Top notch. Thanks Andrew!

An enlightening journey! - We enjoyed a beautiful crisp autumn air 🍂 day with clear sky’s. It was a perfect balance of walking and delicious food and beverages. Andrew knows a lot about the city of Kelowna and its history. There’s much to learn and experience. We loved Sprout’s fresh baked goodies and granola, The Curious Cafe served delicious pizza, and sipped on Chaibaba’s delicious tea.. Truly all venues were warm and welcoming with pleasant atmospheres, some quieter and others more lively. We attended at the end of summer season and certain places were closed, floral landscapes changed and we missed the home made gelato 🍧 at the Yacht club although it offered a comforting fire to cozy up to. Overall we appreciated navigating these unique places and area of Kelowna. We highly recommend going with friends or family and or as a couple.
