Excellent historical tour! - The historic walking tour of Kennebunkport was amazing! Our guide Pete was very knowledgeable, and he gave a very thorough historical account of the industry, major figures and architecture from early days. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone interested in the history of shipbuilding and early New England life.

A Wonderful Walk through Historic Kennebunkport - This tour highlights the history and architecture of many of the beautiful homes in Kennebunkport, a good number of which were built before 1800. We were able to go inside a couple of ship captain's homes that are now inns. Beth, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable, informative, interesting, and friendly. I highly recommend the tour.

Great guide. Brought old Kennebunk (and surrounds) to life! - Peter was a superb guide. It was a dreary, rainy day, the other people cancelled but we still wanted to go and so happy we did! Peter was charming, well versed on Kennebunk history and fun facts. Highly recommend.

Good guide but expensive - Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed learning about the beautiful town and its history. I gave it four stars rather than five because we did more standing than walking, and I had hoped to cover more walking miles! It was also quite expensive. It was nice to be in a small group and to have a guide who could answer our questions.

A lot of walking - Ganny’s garden with flowers/initals replicating afghan, hat, book and garden shoes.
Not much else to say………………………I typically like Viator tours.

Tacky with tourist mobs - We had planned our visit thinking that it would be between the busy summer season and leaf peeper season. It was mobbed with tourists and parking was left to a tiny lot adjacent to downtown. My husband vowed never to return.
It is definitely not a quaint Maine town.
The shops were typical tacky tourist type...no quality there.
