As we make our way outside you will be greeted with stunning views of the Marina and Lake Michigan. The opportunities for photos are endless and at every turn. Use the sailboats as a backdrop to your own art.

After a short introduction to Kenosha and the Harbor Park area, we will discuss various sculptures, murals, and artwork throughout the downtown area.

During the downtown portion of our tour, we will visit or pass the following:

Back on the shore of Lake Michigan you will have unobstructed views of the Lake. Occasionally, on the clearest of days, you may be lucky and see the outline of the Chicago skyline.

  • Downtown Kenosha Wisconsin - Enjoy a ride, at your leisure, on the historic Kenosha streetcars. We will discuss the History and reintroduction of the streetcars in Kenosha.

From 1903 to 1932, electric rail was a regular mode of transportation in Kenosha. On June 17, 2000, streetcar transportation returned to our community. Most of Kenosha’s streetcars are authentic 1951 President’s Conference Committee (PCC) cars. Each Kenosha streetcar has a name and color scheme that represents the legacy of streetcar transportation in North America.

The Kenosha streetcars are available according to the published schedule on the city website.

  • Kenosha Public Museum - Our tour begins and ends near four public museums in the downtown area. Most are free or have a small charge for entrance.
  • Kenosha public museum
  • Kenosha civil war museum
  • The Kenosha dinosaur museum
  • The Southport lighthouse museum

Our tour ends at the public and civil war museums. The streetcar has a stop at the Dinosaur Museum. The lighthouse is located on Simmons Island, a short walk or drive around the marina.

  • Downtown Kenosha Wisconsin - Our tour will end back at the Kenosha Tap House, where you will be treated to your first (4) ounces of beers to quench your thirst at the end of the tour. The Tap House has 50 taps to choose from and is self-serve. Take a load off and share a beer with your new friends.

Thank you Matty! - We love art - and the idea of urban art. We took a friend on this tour for her birthday, driving up from the Chicago suburbs. We are so glad we did. Matty was a wonderful tour guide. He knew his stuff of course - and was personable, easy to be with and to listen to. We would definitely do another tour with him.
