Amazing experience! Totally worth it! - Matt was amazing! You can tell he’s a teacher. He’s so knowledgeable and entertaining! He was also super patient with my parents as they are chronically slow and late. He made the experience one to remember! Thank you so much, Matt! Your jokes are great!

A Most Excellent Adventure - It was a great day with Matt. We were first off the ship and there he was greeting us with with a big smile and a warm welcome to Dover. He was well prepared with artifacts, pictures and a treasure trove of stories.
Often tour guides makes you feel as though you’re on a forced march. With Matt we felt privileged and that he was there for us. He was sensitive to our schedule and attention span…the narrative was.thorough but not overwhelming. He took us to fascinating places off the beaten path that you just wouldn’t get to on the larger tours. I wish all guides were as good as Matt.

Cliff of Dover - Matt was fantastic! Knows his history, is very entertaining and being a “ local” was able to make us feel as if we live in the Dover area. Highly recommend this tour!!

History filled - Matt was very knowledgeable got to see a lot of places and history. We were disappointed that we didn’t get to go into Dover Castle. Even though we didn’t get to tour the inside of any castles, we did thoroughly enjoy the experience. Thank you.

Breathtaking - This was an outstanding tour. Everything was a smooth process from the time of booking on viator to the company confirming pick up with us when we exited the cruise ship. The scenic views of Dover, Canterbury, the cliffs and the cute little town of sandwich were not disappointing. The guide was spectacular! Highly recommend!

Beautiful countryside, fabulous tour guide - Mark (& staff @ pier) were excellent. Mark was so friendly and informative. Wish we could have stayed 3 days in Dover/ Canterbury with him. Enjoyed the smaller group of 14. Only downside was everything was closed (museum, restaurants, bars, etc) when we went but that’s not tour operator issue.

Great excursion from Dover! - This was an awesome excursion! Matt James, our guide, was very infomative, friendly and funny. The tour took us to many towns and interesting sites. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

Great introduction to history, flora and fauna of area - Loved the hands on examples of geological items as well as our walking encyclopedia guide. Only downside is that we did not leave on time as scheduled. Were told to be at bus by 0700 but did not leave until 0730. Evidently waiting for another party which did not show up.

Not a great day - The guide was not easily heard from the middle and back of the van. Needed a microphone. Several times we were just dropped off and frankly had trouble reuniting with the group. Way over priced for the experience received. We had several excursions on this trip that far exceeded this for a fraction of the cost.
