Great Way to Experience the Trail for First timers - From go this company made our last minute planning super simple and easy--it was a last minute trip, and they were able to find options that suited our date and interest in varied types of distilleries and experiences. Mike was super pleasant and gave us some local insight and some scenic excursions to get to places when time permitted. Not many tour companies will accommodate last minute or just two people, and we were so pleased to find a company which could do both so successfully.

Great Time & Great Bourbon!!! - A group of us (10 in total) traveled to Louisville to hit the Bourbon Trail. We referred to Travel the Trail by our Airbnb host and we couldn't have been more pleased. Our Tour host Andrew French (Andy) was phenomenal. He was extremely knowledge about all things Louisville and Bourbon. He got us everywhere on time (even when our group was running late in the morning). Travel the Trail put together a great itinerary for us, and everything ran smoothly. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Travel the Trail to anyone looking to do the Bourbon Trail.

Great fun! - This was so much fun. We had a great day and all the distilleries were really different. Our driver and guide, Mike was really knowledgeable too and fun. We cannot say enough about him and the tour

This one is worth a shot ... bourbon that is! - Given our travel schedule, we set up a tour for a Monday which meant that several of the distilleries that we were interested in seeing were closed. No matter as Travel the Trails and Bob, our tour guide made the experience terrific! They chose 3 distilleries with different personalities and experiences making this day comprehensive from a learning and tasting experience. Our lunch stop was in Bardstown at the Talbott Tavern Restaurant - food was great and if you are a history buff, take a walk upstairs and see Jesse James "mark", after a poker game gone rogue! Highly recommend this experience and Bob!

Travel the Bourbon Trail 🥃 - Bob, our tour guide was Great! Booked 3 Bourbon Distilleries & we were with him for the day. Bob was highly knowledgeable and a wealth of information. Took us to Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace & Whiskey Thief. Had a great lunch together. Snacks & Water in the Tour Bus.

Excellent Day with my daughter - Mike was so pleasant and knowledgeable. Gave excellent advice at the distillery to help us with selection of bourbon. The venues chosen, Castle and Key and Buffalo Trace were great choices. Shannon at Castle and Key gave an excellent tour. Bring able to see, up close, the mommas and babies at the Godolphin horse farm was especially magical and Emma was an amazing tour guide.

Great experience. - Gainsborough Hore Farm tour was excellent. Buffalo Trace Distillery was outstanding. Great shopping. Castle and Key distrillery tour was great. Rob was great driver and excellent knowledge of area and distilleries.

Bourbon Trail Custom Tour - We booked two full day bourbon trail distillery tours with Travel the Trail and everything was perfect! When we planned our trip for the last weekend in April, we didn't realize it was a very busy weekend and many of the distillery tours/tastings were sold out. Luckily for us Lee worked his magic and arranged six tours/tastings for us over two days. Our group was two couples and we loved having our own driver and vehicle. We were picked up at our hotel promptly, stayed on our schedule, had a great lunch in a nice restaurant and delivered back to our door about 8 hours later. This is the way to do it! We had Bob as our driver/guide the first day and Mike the second day. Both of them were excellent guides, with lots of stories and information about Bourbon and the area. Thank you, Lee, Bob, and Mike, for making our trip memorable!

Great experience! - Rob was our driver & was extremely knowledgeable about bourbon. The vehicle was pristine inside & comfortable. He kept track of the time so me made it to our tastings/tours on time & gave us some pro tips since this was our first experience on the bourbon trail. He was very easy to talk to & took us to a great spot for lunch! We enjoyed each of the 3 distilleries/tasting rooms we went to. I will definitely use Travel the Trail again when I come back to Ky for more of the bourbon trail!!

Exceeded expectations - The experience was phenomenal! Door-to-door service. Snacks and drinks at hand, insider scoop on the local restaurant for lunch, and much more. Our driver, Rob, was incredibly knowledgeable, providing more information and detail than the distillery tour guides. He made the experience so much fun. Travel the Trail is now my “go to” for all bourbon excursions moving forward.
