Continuing, we’ll arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for an afternoon boat safari across the lake. This is an easy, relaxing ride, sailing past hippos and exotic birdlife dotting the lake and its shores.

Nearby, we may spot antelope, zebra, buffalo, eland, and impala perhaps grazing on the shore.

We should also have time for a guided walking safari to nearby Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. It’s a quick walk to this small park where we’ll spot impala, gazelle, and other grazers close-by.

The Masai Mara impresses visitors with its vast spaces but also with its amazing displays of wildlife, said to contain the greatest density of lions in the world.

We’ll arrive at the great park with plenty of time for an afternoon game drive. Over its rolling green hills and golden savannahs, we’ll be looking for the big cats, elephant, giraffe, ostrich, warthog, plus buffalo and more.

Masai Mara – full day

Masai Mara National Reserve - We’re at the greatest wildlife park in the world so let’s get up early to enjoy it! We’ll see the light breaking over the reserve, with fresh tracks of wildlife impressed on the morning dew.

The sun’s rays breaking through the park’s many iconic acacia trees signal new beginnings and great possibilities.

This is a day of unlimited game drives and fulfilling exploration. Sightings of lions are common on these plains and we will track the mighty creatures.
The park is also known as the place where the greatest movement of animals on the planet occurs – the Great Migration. If you are here during the migrating season (July – October) you’ll be witness to thousands and perhaps tens of thousands of gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra pouring into the park over the Mara River.
We’ll enjoy lunch by the river and if in season, watch the torrent of wildlife flood into the park. Also, nearby, we’ll look for hippos and crocodiles in their river habitat.

Comfortable trip without any issues - We, a group of 6 retirees, decided to make a tour through Kenia & Tanzania, main focus on game drives. As we wanted to customize and have a relative flexible itinerary, we noted that there are many tour operators in Kenia with a wide range of budget, comfort and luxury/expensive options. From our shortlist, Flexivel had the best proposition. Jonathan informed us fast and adequate on all the queries we had. Our experience was over and above our expectation, Flexivel appeared to be a very customer focused & friendly organisation. Especially the accommodation was nice; although we had chosen for the comfort option, we loved the quality of the lodges and luxury tents; each with their specific setting. We loved George’s going the extra miles to show us the beauty and diversity of Kenia’s National Parks. Joshua was equally experienced and told us many different aspects of Tanzania. Arriving back home, we look back at a very nice journey with lots of good memories. Based on our experience, we certainly recommend Flexivel !

An unforgettable twelve-day safari adventure in Kenya and Tanzania: A journey through nature's wonders - Booking our twelve day safari through Kenya and Tanzania with Flexible Kenya Safaris was an excellent decision that my wife and I made together. The process was seamless, thanks to the efficient and quick communication with Jonathan and Rachel, who clearly answered all our questions and helped us feel confident in our choice. Our adventure began at Samburu Reserve where we spent two nights at Samburu Simba Lodge. The game drives were extraordinary, mainly due to our guide, George, who ensured we saw some of the reserve's rarest animals, including the Somali ostrich, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks and Beisa oryxes. We even spotted a striped hyena from our cabin one night! We then visited the Aberdare National Park, staying at The Ark Lodge, where we enjoyed watching the wildlife from the lodge terrace as they came to drink water. At Lake Nakuru National Park, the stay at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge was highlighted by game drives that showcased flamingos, buffalo and about five white rhinos. The highlight of the trip was the Masai Mara, where we stayed at the Mara Simba Lodge and experienced a fantastic hot air balloon ride. We observed many animals including hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards and elephants along the Mara River. Our journey continued to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, where we met another amazing guide, Vincent, and spotted the Big Five. The stay at Kontiki Camp was wonderful and we enjoyed our two nights in the Serengeti. We also visited the Ngorongoro Crater and stayed at Endoro Lodge in Mto wa Mbu. Returning to Kenya through the Namanga border, we finished the safari in Amboseli National Park, staying at Kibo Safari Camp, where the view of the elephants in the swamps was truly breathtaking. In summary, this twelve-day safari was an exceptional experience that we recommend to all travelers. Special thanks to George and Vincent for making our adventure unforgettable. We enjoyed every moment and are eager to come back.

Our journey kicked off in the vibrant city of Nairobi, where we were warmly picked up from the Hilton Garden Inn. The excitement soared as we set our course for Samburu Game Reserve, a haven of unique wildlife encounters. Our base at Samburu Simba Lodge was a true gem – offering not only comfort but also spectacular views of the surrounding wilderness. From the breathtaking landscapes of Lake Nakuru to the majestic Masai Mara Reserve, each destination unfolded like a chapter in a captivating story. Unforgettable 12-Day Safari Adventure - My girlfriend and I did a 12 day safari through the amazing parks and game reserves of Kenya and Tanzania and it was the experience of a lifetime. Our journey took us through breathtaking landscapes teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, but the absolute highlight was our stay in Tanzania's Ndutu region. In Ndutu we witnessed one of nature's most spectacular events: the great migration of millions of wildebeest. This extraordinary sight with endless herds thundering across the plains was a testament to the wild and untouched beauty of Tanzania. It was a moment of awe and wonder that offered a unique connection with the raw power of nature. Our safari was further enhanced by our exceptional guides, George in Kenya and Tuma in Tanzania. Their expertise and passion for wildlife was evident. George, with his keen eye and deep knowledge of Kenyan nature, provided us with unforgettable encounters in the Kenyan game reserves. He had an uncanny ability to spot even the most elusive animals and enriched our safaris with exciting sightings. In Tanzania, Tuma's expertise shone through. His understanding of animal behavior, especially during the Great Migration in Ndutu, allowed us to witness spectacular scenes safely and respectfully. His enthusiasm was contagious, making every game an exciting and educational experience. Both Tuma and George were not only guides, but became storytellers, sharing fascinating insights into the history, cultures and ecosystems of the regions. We were deeply impressed by their professionalism, helpfulness and dedication to conservation. Accommodation throughout the safari was Excellent comfortable and provided the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern amenities. The food was a wonderful mix of local and international cuisine, always fresh and tasty. In conclusion, this safari was more than just a trip; it was a profound journey that deeply connected us to the wonders of the African wilderness. We left with memories that will last a lifetime and a new appreciation for the natural world. We can't recommend it enough to anyone considering a safari in Kenya and Tanzania with Flexivel Kenya Safaris - it's a truly soul-feeding adventure.Asanteni Sana!!
