You’ll proceed driving through the Rift Valley floor to the Mara arriving in good time for lunch. After that, Embark on your first game drive this afternoon to return back at sunset

One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Mara National Reserve. That’s because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards, cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights. There’s a very good chance you’ll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. Bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It’s a place of beautiful savannah landscapes and lots of acacia trees.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve - This is a full day spent game viewing across the rich tree-studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous “Eighth Wonder of the Animal World”. The Mara is known for its great herds of plains game animals like leopards, cheetahs, and lions. It also has numerous elephants and every other type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. You will have a full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve.

Your lunch today is picnic lunch boxes in the savannah under a flat-top acacia tree while watching the animals grazing. You will continue with the game-viewing en route to your camp, arriving late in the afternoon after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah measuring 1,500 sq km.

You have an option of booking a balloon ride today which takes off early in the morning. After landing, the crew will help you out of the basket and escort you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast. It is a lifetime experience and worth the price.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park - Today after breakfast, you will drive north through Narok to Njoro road which crosses the beautiful sceneries of the fertile wheat lands of Mau and the Mau forest complex. Lake Nakuru is among Kenya’s finest national parks. The park is gorgeous all year-round park and boasts rocky escarpments, patches of yellow-barked acacia forest, and a waterfall. It is home to flamingos, both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. The southern end of the lake is the best place to see wildlife. The forested area below the Rhinos cliff is a favorite lion-spotting point where lionesses love to sleep in the trees, and leopards frequent. Afterward, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha & Hells Gate National park

Lake Naivasha - Depart for an early game drive this morning and after that, Return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast before driving to Lake Naivasha. Amboseli National Park (392 sq km) is famously known for the breathtaking panoramic view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain on earth and the tallest in Africa (5,895m). Amboseli is also an elephant’s paradise where the massive African savannah elephants roam from swamp to swamp, grazing all day. Because of the abundance of water and pasture, the bull elephants here weigh up to 6 tons. A fantastic safari at a fair price! - My wife and I have booked a 7-Day Wildlife Adventure & Outdoors Activities (UPPER-Mid-Range LODGES) in Kenya. From the consultation with Kennedy and the offer to the billing and safari execution, everything worked out wonderfully. All the information and tips from the staff were helpful and accurate. The accommodation was fabulous. We were rebooked because some of the camps we had booked were being renovated due to the storms. We actually improved on our original booking in terms of the location and comfort of the accommodation. With Jamu, we had a very experienced and experienced driver who not only drove us safely through Kenya, but was also very familiar with the animals and plants in the parks. He also taught us a lot about Kenya and the people who live there. We have been on many safaris, but have never seen so many animals as closely as on this tour with Camptreck. We can therefore recommend Camptrek without reservation.
