Pick up and Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park

Kisumu - Pick up from Kisumu starts at 5:00 AM and Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Get to experience Kenyan townships on your way to lake Nakuru national park. Get to see the variety of produce sold on the road. We will drive through kericho a green land with vast tea plantation arriving in Nakuru in time for a late Morning Game Drive.

The Drive to Lake Nakuru will take slightly over 3 Hours

Lake Nakuru National Park - Arrive at Lake Nakuru for a late evening game drive, top up the roof of your customized safari vehicle and drive along the lake shore. The lake is famous for Flamingos visiting to feed on algae forming on the lake bed. They move back and forth, feeding and occasionally taking to the skies filling it with pink color.

Break for Lunch followed by an evening game drive. The park is also home to Roth’s child Giraffes, Water bucks, Impala, Lions, Leopards, Pythons and Rhinos which we will track on our drive to Makalia Fall, one of the rivers feeding the Lake and later to the Baboon Cliff.

Lake Nakuru National Park and Drive Back to Kisumu

Lake Nakuru - After an early morning breakfast, enjoy a game drive on your way out of the park. with an early morning game drive and luck on your side, you may find the previous night kill. Lions are nocturnal beings with ability to sleep for approximately 20 hours and be active for 4- 5 hours a day this explains why they are more active during Dusk to Down.

Kisumu - Drive back to Kisumu after the Morning game drive.

The Drive takes roughly 3 Hours.

Between the lake and the western cliffs, large pythons inhabit the dense woodland and are often seen crossing roads or hanging from trees. This tour also includes visits to Baboon Cliff, Makalia Waterfall, and the Rift Valley View Point.
