Mombasa to Masai Mara

Mara River - Day 1 (L, depending on arrival flight; D)

Guests will be collected from their hotel in Mombasa and transported to Moi International Airport for a 2-hour flight to Maasai Mara. Depending on the travel date, flights are available at either 11 a.m. or 1 p.m.; the tour company will confirm the exact flight details upon booking. Upon arrival at the Maasai Mara airstrip, guests will be driven to the hotel for check-in. Note: If arriving on the 11 a.m. flight, guests will proceed to the lodge for lunch; if arriving on the 1 p.m. flight, lunch will be provided on the last day before departure. At around 4 p.m., an evening game drive will commence for two hours, followed by dinner and relaxation at the lodge.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - The Maasai Mara National Reserve, renowned for the wildebeest migration, is also known as Masai Mara or simply The Mara. This expansive national game reserve in Narok, Kenya, is adjacent to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Maasai people, the area’s ancestral inhabitants who migrated from the Nile Basin.

Masai Mara Full Day

Mara River - Day 2 (B, L, D)

Following breakfast, guests will embark on a 6-hour morning game drive, returning to the lodge in time for lunch. The afternoon is free for relaxation and enjoying the scenery, whether in the room, by the pool, or at the water point. Another game drive is scheduled for 4 p.m. for two hours, followed by dinner and relaxation.

Guests also have the option to depart after breakfast for a full-day game drive in the park, including a bush picnic lunch. Consultation and advice with the guide on-site are available.

Maasai Mara back to Mombasa

Maasai Mara National Reserve - On this day, guests will be picked up from the lodge and driven to the Maasai Mara airstrip, with a game drive en route. They will then be dropped off in Mombasa.
