ARRIVAL - MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by a representative who will assist and provide a briefing on the itinerary. From the airport, depart Nairobi and journey to the renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. Travel through the picturesque Mau escarpment road into the Rift Valley, reaching Maasai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to a thrilling game drive. This reserve features hilly savanna, rolling grasslands, and gallery forests along the Mara River and its tributaries. The ‘big five’ are well-represented here, including the lion, leopard, and cheetah as the large predators, and the hyena and jackal as the smaller ones. Large herbivores such as elephants, rhinos, zebras, hippos, buffaloes, and giraffes roam the area, alongside smaller herbivores like antelopes and bucks. The Maasai ostrich, the world’s largest bird, can also be spotted in the park. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at ELANGATA OLERAI TENTED CAMP.

Maasai Mara National Reserve - After breakfast, guests will enjoy a full day of morning and evening game viewing and exploration in this section of the Northern Serengeti Ecosystem, where the great wildebeest migration occurs. Prior to the migration, herds gather in the Serengeti, preparing for their crossing into Maasai Mara. The plains are teeming with these animals, accompanied by grunts and other animal sounds, with territorial disputes being a common sight. All meals and an overnight stay will be at ELANGATA OLERAI TENTED CAMP.
MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - DEPARTURE
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the top of the escarpment once more, now with cherished memories of the landscape. A brief stopover at the Italian chapel will be made before continuing to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Lunch will be arranged independently in Nairobi. Subsequently, guests will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for their onward flight.
