Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Guests will be collected from their hotel or the airport at a prearranged time in the morning and taken to the office for a briefing by a professional guide/driver about the exciting safari ahead. Departing from Nairobi, the journey heads northwest of the capital to the renowned Masai Mara. Upon arrival at the Great Rift Valley escarpment, there will be an opportunity to capture stunning photographs and purchase beaded jewelry at the crafts shop. A lunch stopover in Narok town follows, before continuing to Masai Mara. Upon arrival, guests will check in at their camp or lodge and embark on an evening game drive, where they will encounter a diverse range of wildlife, particularly the large mammals. Later, return to the camp or lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
Maasai Mara Full Day
Maasai Mara National Reserve - Today’s itinerary is flexible, depending on the agreed schedule with the driver or guide. After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, exploring the rich, tree-studded savannah grassland. Enjoy viewing over 450 species of wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest and zebras. The opportunity to see the Big Five roaming the reserve and capture memorable photographs is not to be missed. Lunch will be enjoyed by the Mara River, with views of the hippo pool, a site of the great wildebeest migration. Continue with the afternoon game drive, and as the sun sets, consider visiting a Masai village to experience authentic Masai culture, lively dances, vibrant clothing, and beautifully crafted handiworks. Return to the camp or lodge to freshen up for dinner and an overnight stay.
Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru
Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast, there is an option to visit a Maasai Village before departing the Maasai Mara region for Lake Nakuru National Park. A lunch stopover in Narok is planned, with arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park in the late evening. Check in at the hotel or lodge, freshen up, and prepare for dinner and an overnight stay.
Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast, embark on a game drive in this picturesque park, renowned for bird watching and its rhino sanctuary. The sight of the vast flock of pink flamingos along the lake shores from Baboon Cliff is unforgettable. Rhino sightings, along with predator species such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards, are also common, along with many other species. Later, return to Nairobi with a lunch stop along the way, arriving in the evening for drop-off at the hotel or airport.
